Triple Aught Design Stealth LT hoodie 2021/2022 winter version
(Cry once when you pay, and smile every time you wear it.)

So, this is the current version of Stealth. (Well, Stealth "LT". The original Stealth is long gone, and it will not come back, because the material is no longer manufactured.)

Just like the original Stealth, this is either "very breathable hardshell" or "very water resistant softshell".
Either way, it'll keep you dry in down pour, without building up humidity inside.

Do I really need to pay that much for hardshell?
Well, I had been wearing Oakley hardshell that I purchased from LA police gear when it was on sale, for years.
Which keeps me dry, but ... it's just too baggy for my skinny frame.
If I want a nice, trim fit hardshell, Arc'teryx is the only other option, and they are just as expensive as TAD gear.)

Dang. Did Sho Kosugi get a facelift?

TADGear makes nice stuff but it's the kind of gear you wear only if you want people to follow you home so they can figure out which house to break into next. :laughing

Triple Aught Design Intercept PD jeans

Part 1
(Quick overview)

So, I've been wearing them for about two, three weeks now.
My size (28x30) in Siege Blue had been out of stock for quite some time, so I had to call them a few times (to ask when they were going to be restocked).
Anyhow, they are great. Better than I thought, actually.

They can hold way more gear than regular jeans,
AND you can move and sit down comfortably (with SureFire and extra Mag in the pocket.)

As you can see in the video, they are great for high kicks, jumping around, playing James Caan in "Thief" (1981 Michael Mann film).
(Tight blue jeans, leather jacket, Gold Cup National Match... 1980s greatness)

When you actually run, jump and do high kicks, these are actually more comfortable than some of the "tactical" pants.

So, like, do you sell these products or are you just a fan?

I just saw the $70 T-Shirts on their website and I have muthafuckin' questions.

Digging the work you put into these videos.
I’m just not a fan of denim and canvas type jackets. I have a few of them, different brand, and find them stiff and uncomfortable so almost never wear them.

No, I don't sell them.
I'm making these videos just for laugh.

BTW, the $70 T you mentioned is most probably Traverse tech-T, I guess.
They are 86% Merino wool, 14% Nylon, and MADE IN USA.
Similar t-shirt from Smartwool or Ice Breaker would cost abut the same or more, and they are made in overseas, they are less durable.

(You can't compare cotton T and merino wool T. )

Thanks.
It is funny, that I feel the same way (about denim and canvas).
Years ago, I used to wear jeans, Carhartt canvas pants.
I've made a switch to nylon pants (don't remember how many years ago), then, I've never bought / worn them since.
(Synthetic hiking / tactical pants are so much more comfortable, and functional.)

HOWEVER, the Intercept PD is "stretch" jeans.
Interestingly, only 1% of the material is "stretchy", and when you handle the jeans out of the box, they don't seem to be that stretchy, really.
But, once you start wearing them and do a lot of movement, you can feel they are really stretch jeans.

Anyhow, I'm going to talk about that in the next video.

I just got a pair of some 5.11 pants. Still getting used to them. I need to get them hemmed, they're too long.

They're comfy in their own way, but, boy, are they noisy! Corduroy has nothing on a pair these. They scare the cats!
