Understanding Off-Highway Vehicles Sticker Designation (Green vs. Red)

I just heard about this tan sticker business and am completely floored. Purchased a 2025 Husqvarna TE 300 last year and blinged it out with all necessary doodads. Now, I’m getting smacked in the head? W.T.A.F.? @Butch … is it true?

Have current red sticker. Expires June 2027.

Wow. Just wow. So, does a tan sticker mean you are prohibited from riding on any public land ? All OHV locations?

Did you receive that sticker at random, or were you renewing your registration?

From what I read you arent allowed to ride on public lands but need the registration sticker to legally transport your bike. Obviously some places never check registration though. Also we will see when and If the public parks enforce this at all. The local park here (Hollister) said as long as you have a registration sticker and spark arrestor they would let you ride.

I didnt receive that. All my bikes are 2021 and older as we read this was coming prior to 2020. I have seen a few people posting online the past few days. From what that letter says they issued that bike a red stciker then sent him the tan sticker. The registration period just passed in May i think so this is a few month after that
