expecting a UPS package delivered to a business.
UPS web site says attempted deliver at 904a.
says business closed , yes the hours are 10-5.
some digging into it turns out UPS decided the business would be closed and the package never got on a truck to begin with.

WOW, UPS sucks balls

Can't say I really blame them considering it's their peak and some poor sap has to spend Christmas eve delivering packages. Imagine if he had to made all his stops at businesses that would be closed.

Then find another job that doesn't have to work on Christmas Eve. There are a bunch of little smiles (parents as well) that rely on those deliveries. Suck it up and do your job UPS.

bad service on the part of UPS......yelp or some other such site and vent.....

Time of year.

Ordered something on Amazon last Tuesday with 2 day prime shipping. Tracking said by Friday.

Friday comes and it says "out for delivery" but I never get it. Check Saturday morning and its "At facility".

I call today, lady says its down there just go pick it up. I drive there, give tracking number as do about a dozen other people. Its chaos, they have to MANUALLY go through 1,000s of packages as these were the ones left off the truck.

I leave after an hour of waiting and give the manager my number.

Get a call an hour later it was on the truck and to be delivered :wtf

I got it in time but blew an hour for nothing.

Ups guy never even came to my house with my package but scanned it as no one home, signature required. I was on my porch all afternoon refreshing my screen waiting. Pissed me off so I called to complain and ups said their drivers phone was turned off and they couldn't get a hold of him. Fucker. Next day the guy returns drops off my package and walks off as I watched him. So much for signature required.

:rofl Gosh, imagine if he had to do his fucking job.

So glad you don't work for me.

Our UPS driver asked if he could block our driveway for about an hour since it made delivery to the rest of the street a lot easier and more efficient. HELL YES!!!

Guy didn't have anything for us but brought the dog a treat :thumbup

I've used UPS for a long time. The last couple years their delivery system has deteriorated. It's the first time I've gotten "delivered" notices when the package was still in the facility. Something has changed.

I got a couple packages delivered by a guy on a bicycle :wtf in a UPS uniform with a little trailer

this.

I regularly catch my UPS delivery guy walking up to my door, filling out the sticky note saying he tried to deliver. I usually wait till he's filled it out, and then open the door. :laughing fuckers.

then I chuckle as they have to go back to the truck, and actually dig it out. :rolleyes

On that note I'd say DHL and FedEx have stepped up their game...Problem is people who send usually have no DHL places convenient to them and FedEX places tend to be hidden in industrial parks.I admit I send all my stuff through UPS store just because I can go down the street and not have to drive south on hwy 1 to Capitola- takes a half hour to go 5 miles after work..

Fed ex and ups are combining there companies together. It's going to be called Fed-Up :teeth

FedEx FTW...schedule a pickup and they just come to you to get it. Done.

at least up to a couple of years ago my experience was the opposite. living in apartment with multiple other units by lake merritt waiting all day only to find a notice left on mailbox outside saying driver was there, rang but never got into the building? bullshit i was there waiting all day, but made their job easier because then i had to go to airport to pickup myself.

White people problems, yeah we got'em.
