Hey all,

being trying to get rid of Urllogic.com pop-ups, to no avail. Run the Yahoo spyware thingy, and Spybot - neither finds anything.

So then I tried downloading hijackthis and deleted all the known 'urllogic' keys from the registry.

Nada, bupkiss.

I DID find an awful lot of other crap running that I removed, but can't remove the GD urllogic pop-ups.

And before you all jump down my throat, this is what happens when you let your sister-in-law surf on your PC for a coupla hours..."Oh, well, it said your machine was at risk unless I install this adware thingy, was that wrong?"

WAAAAAAAAAAH!

Any help appreciated...

Well, from what I could find, this urllogic thingy is one of the badnastyjumpjump's of the Internet world (for a ref as to what exactly a badnastyjumpjump is, "It's bad, it's nasty, so jump! JUMP!" - blatantly stolen from www.zark.com - Argon zark vol 1)

This forum thread http://castlecops.com/postx103348-0-0.html&sid=a85c82ffafd54481d3bd9e80a038d9c5 seems to reference the process someone had to go thru to 'fix' the issue. I'd skip the part about going to the parent company for the uninstall code... that to me is a bit shady.
