Vegan climbs Mount Everest to prove they aren't weak..

Well, maybe she shouldn't have publicized her diet, but people just have such strange and incorrect concepts about vegans.

I mean, the other three who died presumably aren't vegans. What can we infer? (nothing)

That being above 27K feet is risky for anyone.

Yeah, I've often wondered what drives people to do these things. I mean, sure there must be some sort of rush during, and a sense of accomplishment after. But, do those feelings last?

Not funny, and one instance does not a trend make. Probably, numerous omnivore humans died prior to the first one completing the round trip. Note several non-vegans have died also, just this season. Look at the number of deaths over the history of this adventure - it's not just vegans who are unable to live at that altitude.

50% of vegans who climbed Everest died.

Seriously, it seems like a bad byline to one of the most difficult challenges left.

If she had successfully climbed everest I'm sure she would have made some equally on-instance claim that is also meaningless.

No, they just temporarily feel the void until next challenge/adventure. :)

sounds like they didnt train enough. their prev highest accent was 6k feet short of the camp where she died.

Altitude sickness is pretty strange. It can affect any climber at any time. It's not that training doesn't help, but sometimes it doesn't help.
