VIDEO: CBR 600R vs. Daytona 675R

Not to knock on the video BUT that camera person is packin' a$$ like a muhh :thumbdown

Otherwise looks like a normal romp through RWR

Whoever is manning the camera bike appears to be conducting a mobile colonoscopy on the lead...they're not leaving any room for error on that road nor at that speed.

Just my useless opinion and .02

Sorry, just seen too many wrecks on RWR and lost one too many BARFers on that very stretch.

i dont think your opinion is useless. i think there are some unnecessary risks taken by the recording bike, especially when its front wheel comes side by side with the rear wheel in a turn prior to a direction change. really not leaving enough room for error. it's not a race, let alone a trackday. the rider in the front could have easily pulled a simoncelli on pedrosa

No need to be sorry, I appreciate your concern and welcome criticism, especially when it comes to safety. Whenever I get that close, you'll notice I'm taking a completely different line and I remain out of the error margin of his bike in case a mistake is made on either of our parts. I've grown accustomed to how wide that margin is because every time we go out, something happens out of nowhere (i.e. deer or car) and we have to make adjustments. That very day, we were coming around a blind right and there was a fucking car just parked in the lane. I was just as close and my line was completely independent of his corrective actions. I've got video of that too that I'll post up when I figure out how to upload straight from my hard drive.

Video is private now...

Sorry. I don't want unwanted attention after noticing his license plate is clear as day. I also realized it's like slapping the CHP and Sheriffs in the face after they deal with the shit end of our copy cats. They know we're well within our limits but then there are the guys who try to imitate it and the LEOs end up scooping their brains off the tarmac. I'd like to maintain the respectful relationship we have with those guys. They're often the first ones on scene when bikers go down.
