I would always try to support my LBS with an e-bike purchase has it may require more maintenance than a regular bike and having that relationship may be clutch.

We have been having huge funs. Riding an elect class 1 mtn bike in tech terrain demands a lot of skilz. Folks that say it is easy are pansies.

We just spent four days at Lassen Nat'l forest, Mineral specifically. Got kicked out of the Park wildfire burn footprint. Twice. Clean up, hotspots, they are still working on it. It was kinda freaky. Oh, and we climbed Mt Lassen too.
