yep
Well, pictures tell it pretty well. I busted off the screw mount for the chain guard with my lock. I'm guessing its an easy weld?

How can I get this guy back together? I don't have the equipment to weld it myself, so I'd need to have it done somewhere.

well i am guessing you should open up the phone book and look up welding. An aluminium swingarm wil need to be TIG welded and any good fabrication shop should be able to do that for you.

I saw a mobile welding truck at the AFM races, if anyone knows who that is you could hit em up. Good luck.

Hey, I thought you were putting the lock on the frame now!?

(stop locking your rear wheel!)

I would not let just anyone weld on my swingarm. Find someone that does race bike work, or high performance fabrication. How far is Kosman from your location? Thier ads in City Bike say one hour from SF, so it's 30 minutes from Pittsburg?

As a temporary fix, you could drill a hole in the bracket and use a heavy duty zip tie to hold it in place. It's only the chain guard! :p

You could probably JB weld it too, if you clean and prep the metal properly.

I'm retarded :laughing

Thanks for the feedback! I'll see what I can find out.

dude use some jb weld that stuff works wonders

I have a TIG welder, but I'm really much better at welding steel than aluminum.

I got some metal weld goo crap. I'll see how it holds up. If it can't take a good yank, then I'll have it done professionally. I don't want that chain guard breaking loose on me
