I had no respect till I saw a show where he he rode his "art" down to Mexico. From LA to Copper Canyon, on a HARDTAIL and no windshield... for 5 days down and another 5 back. Not a huge fan but c'mon, that is a RIDE.
 
He was entertainment thats all. I do weld and fabricate it just takes practice and you can get good at it.

Hey guy, I actually "out ran" 2 of Claytons "finest"(?) on my Rukus TWO UP! (full disclosure: the Man was on foot/mountain bike) So my Ruc now sports a stylish "Capable of Evading High Speed Pursuit" sticker that I got at Cycle Gear for .89! So chill with the Rukus slams or I'll start rockin' Glo Sticks too!:twofinger

The economy cannot sustain one off choppers for people who THINK they're rich because their 60's split level was appraised at $800K by some scum who had every incentive to lie and mislead. You can see those custom bikes being sold off at prices that are less than new HD's in almost any local trade magazine.

JJ had celeb cred, and then cr@pped all over Sandra. In LA, you don't insult their queens. JJ was finished as soon as Sandy said he was. Pack up shop and get out of town. I'm sure he'll do fine somewhere else, just as long as it's not in SoCal. (and if he stops using)
 
At $150,000 a pop for custom choppers I have a hard time believing they don't make any money on them since they don't mfg the engines.

once again what i choose to wear is not any of your concern...if i were into drag'n knee or track days and could afford that then yeah there would be more of an effort to buy gear to be used. you as well as several members on here have no problem degrating or bashing or squid calling and to me that is just another form of being prejudice. that's why i say put up or shut up, there are more of you barfers that have the skills and oppurtunity to help a rider than prejudge one, however its just not as entertaining. (just guessing) my choices in gear have to be practicle how much am i going to use vs the cost. im a single father, doesnt mean i need condoms unless someone is wanting to have sex with me? :teeth saying that there's no excuse for not having gear... well motorcycles have been around for a long time and gear has improved but not needed at every and all times, sure be safe but in the end choice is just that and if you dont agree so be it. i dont care who rides what or wears what i just know as they ride there's something in common for the both of us. truly when someone has an avatar of vanilla instead of a his duck at bucks or not able to find a pic cause its probably in a garage i take that all in good fun. :twofinger

Of course it's your choice not to wear proper gear and to somehow justify it to yourself, but don't think you'll convince us it is the "intelligent" choice. Gear being "not needed at every and all time", how do you know when you'll be hit by someone not paying attention? Do you wake up and say "Today I'm DEFINITELY not being hit by a drunk driver".
