Western Addition wheelie gang

Its " convicted felon ".

Being a criminal is a type of behavior, once convicted you become a felon. They were engaging in criminal behavior.

It takes a court to declare someone a felon. A person can be a criminal without being caught and tried. Being criminal.is a matter of opinion, being a felon is the result of a trial.

A person who steals your motorcycle is a criminal among other things. If caught and tried and found guilty, they become a felon.

Felons have done state time in prison, not jail. You can be convicted of many, many crimes and do quite a bit of time behind bars and not be a felon.

The millennial in me says that is way too onerous - can't you just do it for me?

The techie in me sees an opportunity to increase gentrification by disrupting the process via automation.

The BARFer in me says to cut their heads off with piano wire because "society" wouldn't miss stuntas and squids anyways.

The motorcyclist in me is reminded why it's best to ride alone.

LMAO this is great... :thumbup

Two kinds of criminals:

Those caught
Those yet to be caught

There is no legal title of criminal but there is one for "felon"

If one engages in criminal behavior they are a criminal. Like "law abiding" no court needs to declare it.

Hairsplitting legalese mambo jumbo, which already seems to be your theme, in spite of your short tenure.

But neither here or there. In time, hopefully you'll notice others too have their themes around here. (So do I.) Some in this very thread (and in countless other threads) love to throw the label "criminal" on people that don't do exactly how they do. Needless to say, the former commit dozens of crimes daily.

So a criminal is like Dr. Pepper while a crime enthusiast is like Mr. Pibb...dropped out of Cola school too soon! / Mitch Hedberg

What these bikers are doing is obviously shiitty behaviour. A few months ago they were on my block, and it was a big commotion. But as quickly as they came, they were soon out of sight. No different than a band of pirates on their loud hogs, or a school of squids on their loud sprotbiles. Shit, even the last charity ride on Black Friday had some questionable behaviour. Yet nobody goes about insinuating whether or not the latter groups have title of their motorbikes or calling them criminals. Funny how the first group gets all the bad reputation.

Hey I was there filming them for my own amusement. They don't really bother me. I just think they should be stopped for societal benefit.

san Francisco, a "sanctuary city" :laughing

:rofl

Yeah.... when I got chased it was thru schools, parks, churches and shopping centers. They could not fit in the alleys. Cops gave it 100%. Everyone had fun. :party

Maybe just shoot them with tranquilizer darts so they nap for a bit and once a sleep that will cut down the pursuit speed significantly and then...... SFpd can bust them.

Honestly I cannot believe they can't catch these guys.

So why do I bother to have a f'ing license plate on my bike?

That's for you to answer. The reason I have plates is so I can insure my bikes, park without getting towed away or have to flee if an LEO lights me up.

But if you can't think if a good reason, then what the hell, no one's going to be judgemental around here, at least not me.

BTW, I see plenty of unregistered cars on the road, too, so maybe it's a "thing" now.

Another reason I ride alone, most of the time.

So I should just keep my plate in a backpack and put it on when I'm parking. Otherwise, ride dirty without it since they can't do a damn thing about it.

We're sure as heck going to be judgemental. This all reflects poorly on motorcyclists and more importantly on how useless our law enforcement is when they can easily stop law abiding citizens but are completely worthless as stopping blatant law breaking.

It's an easy way to avoid toll bridge fees.

The difference is, if I am called by Johnny Law when speeding, I pull over and take the consequence like a man.

These assholes take responsibilty of nothing and I can guarantee wouldnt pull over if a cop arrived.

Therefore, I can clown on their dumb asses all I want. They are punk ass bitches. Im just a punk ass.

Since when is it wrong to be judgemental? People are judgemental all the time. If you passed a parent on the street viciously beating their child, would you judge them or would you just go "none ma business"?

I judge people who ride their bikes illegally like hooligans to be criminals.

True. There are infractions, midemeanors and felonies and their various classes. Its all spelled out in the penal code.

As innocent as these "riders" probably think they are...just having fun, they might not understand what can happen if they get caught by the wrong people and sit in front of the wrong judge or jury.

Some felons never do time though, they get convicted and their sentence is suspended. They are still felons, time does not remove that distinction.

Linking to the topic, these riders are likely engaging in criminal behavior. If caught and convicted of a felony, they are felons (and likely to become punks) and will be for the rest of their life.

There is another term " offender" often used for those convicted of lesser crimes. Once an offender always an offender.

Someone knows these clowns. A phone call stops their antics. Maybe someone with a few spare dollars offers a reward, then its bye bye idiots.

You're basically implying that it's ok for you to not follow the law because enough people do it as to not cause harm? That's a shitty attitude towards your fellow citizens.

What if you got into an accident with a car and that car drove off with no plates so you couldn't identify it? You'd be cool with that?

Hey I was there filming them for my own amusement. They don't really bother me.

You nearly fooled me.

They're criminals...

...if they all disappeared society wouldn't even notice.

I witnessed a crime taking place...

I feel comfortable judging...

I fucking gladly embrace vitriol for these assholes.

You're right they're just crime "Enthusiasts"

a person who has committed a crime.

I've judged them as hooligans and criminals, yes, and I hope they stop because it would be better for society, but considering I see them like 2x a year, NO it doesn't really bother me. And I dont' care if you believe me.
