What are your pet peeves?

All my cars have modern radios, which are freaking computers. You have to know the secret handshake to operate them. Seven cars so seven sets of secret handshakes.
 
Blisters from new shoes. The rudest of rude!

Also, Lyft bike riders who don't understand basic cycling etiquette. :x

It's so succinct.

I am wearing Band-Aids on both heels and bled all over the heels of my new snake-skin flats. I had to wear tennis shoes with my dress today, and I am big mad about it even if I still look cute. :x

You will be hailed as a hero by some of us, although I honestly don't give a shit about bicycles that follow safety rules on the road. I am not sure I have ever seen one in SF though.

The infotainment system (Harman Kardon) in my 2025 VW Golf R is absolute crap. Mostly it sounds like a mid-60s radio with a paper speaker mounted in the dash. Such shite for a $50k car. I have an aftermarket amp add on from Germany that will supposedly change the dynamic, but need to see what VW will do (if anything) to improve things. Every so often it wakes up and sounds decent. Mostly not. As yet I have not installed the boom boom German amp due to warranty concerns.
 
speaking of car radios-everytime Troy comes home he is in a different rental car/suv/etc. He always manages to find solutions and get us going. Maps, radio, hey Siri......
 
Clueless people who are oblivious to those around them like:
Leave locker doors open
Leave their dogshit on other people's yards
Congregate right in the middle of the lane between machines in healthclub, blocking people trying to come through.
Drivers who don't bother with turn signals
Drivers who are too busy on their phone to see that the light has changed.

It really doesn't have any sacred Airport history,
Drilled into WW 11 pilots, stationed in England, all they ever heard.
No "special" Air craft, Air port, ties,

Concrete handles most of it now, all the bigger airports, reinforced concrete to handle the weight on hot days.
You know it is called, tarmac, too, as a place, not as material.

A thousand varieties of toothpaste, each of which claims a different set of benefits, but when you read the ingredients they're all the same. For example how can one variety "rebuild enamel" if it doesn't contain anything that the regular variety doesn't?
