For a commute it can't much matter, save for the the larger wheel dealing with the incongruities of the infrastructure we call "roads" today.
For example, on the 91 down here, there are 4+ inch "channels" in the roadway. Where it appears road sections have drifted apart. They have grass growing in them. I make a conscious effort to give stay clear of them. They probably aren't but they sure look treacherous to me.
There's one section on the 15 that has similar artifacts, coincidentally located between the #1 and #2 lanes >.<.
