no simple answer. my eyes bleed in sunlight. even bright fog. i could outfit a small city with shades from my personal stash. tell me the saturation of rays, your mood, your activity, the day of the week, your budget, and how big of a slave you are to fashion, and i will triangulate a response. with options.

I have a pair of Hobie polorized sunglasses that I love for fishing but they look really dorky for just every day use.

My polorized action optics are good for fishing but they are getting kind of thrashed by everyday use.

I had a pair of Spy optics but I didn't really like them so when I lost them I never bought another pair.

I'm looking at getting a new pair of hangout sunglasses.

Oh I would rather get metal shavings shoved under my fingernails before I wear a pair of those oversized Paris Hilton shades.

The 6-18 Dollars ones from Rite Aid or Wallgreens do me fine cuz when they brake i dont make a fuss. Had 2 pairs oaks in highschool and they broke....... i had spent 12 dollars on some at rite aid and 4 or so years later they still do me right:teeth:cool

If yer gona wear em on yer motobike better make sure they meet Z-87 certification cause being blind sure would suck.

Oakley flak jacket military frames w/bronze polarized. $60 for the frames, $80 for the lenses. I bought them so I could have some all-purpose sunglasses that would stay on even during heavy physical exercise and also use as safety glasses during work outside.

I've always liked Serengettis. They aren't too expensive, and Big5 always seems to throw them on sale for $39.

My prescription ones are Maui Jims - $500. But, they are amazing - clarity is amazing.

Rest of the time I wear Julbo's - http://www.sunglassesgiant.com/juarsu.html - the little vent up top is surprisingly good at keeping them from frosting up, but does really well to keep light leaking in over the top of the frames.

Oakley Flak Jackets with polarized, dark lenses cuz the sun melts my retinas. They fit under a helmet and are a great fit as well as hella light weight. :cool

medium price because i bought it for $12 and not $9 :p

still....does the job though...and i like em! (thin frame so no embarrassing sun tan)

(not into those flashy multi-colored, bug eyed glasses everyone wears....)

just black for me :teeth

I find I'm not liking the polarized lenses because they blur my vision. I have to remove my glasses to make out certain things...

If you're having problems with polarized lenses blurring your vision, you're probably getting poor quality ones, with the two sides unevenly polarized.

That said, I buy $10 safety glasses from Home Depot in whatever shade I need. :cool

NOTA

I wear scripts. The absolute darkest amber they can make them (which isn't dark enough) or the absolute darkest amber they can make them *plus* a decent dip in grey when they'll do it (only had one place do it for me so far).

Prescription RayBans, need 'em to read or work on a bike. For riding, tinted shield.
