T-shirts

I used to almost exclusively only wear TH t-shirts. For me they were like a custom fit and I didn't have to try on before hand. I'd just grab, checkout, throw on the pile at home and try on when needed.

Last few times I've tried this I pull on and the damn things don't fit. So now I try on at the store and grab a few different sizes just in case size is the issue.

But nope, they've changes their style to emo. The damn things go halfway down my ass, feel like a compression shirt around my torso and arms seem only an inch long. I'd have to lose 50 lbs for a large to fit.

So I try shopping at Levis and a couple other brands but they all have this same bizarre fit. Is anorexic in fashion now?

Anyone else notice this? Where you buying your t-shirts? I'm screwed when my current stash runs out.

I'm gonna start buying button up shirts only...I too have noticed:thumbdown

You are older and fatter now.

The J.Crew apparel that used to just fit on me, doesn't anymore :cry

I'm actually 20 lighter than I was 2 yrs ago and back to were I was 5 yrs ago. Their shirts fit me back then and also just a year ago. This change happened in the past year and was confirmed by an employee at the Vacaville outlet store.
They're calling this new style "the perfect fit", well maybe but for who.

I've often wondered this

I am a fairly large guy 6'4" 235 and could lose a few pounds but I am not and will never fit hipster but it seems to be the current trend

I buy mine at motorcycle races. The last 3 at the Pomona Half Mile. One current black Pomona shirt, 2 discounted Calistoga Half Mile shirts. Before that, the Sacramento Mile a month and a half ago. Yeah, I'm real predictable, but very easy to buy for.

I buy all my shirts at metal shows. Never a problem with fitment :thumbup

"Fashion" has overcomplicated so many simple things for regular dudes now a days its sad.

I have the same thing with Tommy Bahama. I don't like their designs or their prices, but they're the only t-shirts that fit me perfectly. Now they're transitioning to the 'modern fit', which I think is code for 'fits a 12 year old Chinese girl'.

buy yer clothes at costco

I've got bigger tits than a 12 year old Chinese girl.

WTF? I picked you for a skinny 5'6" pale skinned vegan who only wears hemp? Shit you are an inch taller than me and got 20lbs on me.

I figured I was fairly average at 5'11" 205 lbs but looks like the market isn't interested in those proportions anymore.
