too bad the .22LR NAA minis aren't CA legal. Bought the ex GF the black powder version. it was so cute, in a "Noisy Cricket" sort of way.

Sure they are. The NAA-22LR / Stainless Steel Revolver 1.125" and NAA-22MS / Stainless Steel Revolver 1.125" are both on the safe roster. The 1860 and Mini-Masters with the 4" and 6" barrels meet the requirements for the single action exemption.

That was not my impression after watching this video. YMMV.

BTW don't remember calling you names. :twofinger

Yeah, YouTube, that's a vertiable font of factual and balanced information...

Aren't you the poster that thought that shooting through a pocket meant shooting through a pants pocket? :rofl

sadly neither are the Bond 2 shot derringers.

So we're not allowed hi cap, nor 2 or single shot. You'd think CA was really out to remove all guns or sumthin' :p

Model Gun Type Barrel Length Caliber Exp Date
NAA-22LR / Stainless Steel Revolver 1.125" .22 LR 1/24/2014
NAA-22MS / Stainless Steel Revolver 1.125" .22 Magnum 1/24/2014

:teeth

Britny, look at the Sig Pro, it's as nice as the 229 and costs half as much. I have a 229 and my friends Sig Pro shoots just as well if not better.

My wife has a Beretta .25, I'd rather have the .22lr for defensive purposes.

:wow Thanks for the tip. I can save up for one of those much faster than I could for a 229 :laughing
I want a .40 though, absolutely. I plan to keep it at home for defensive purposes mainly, but I also enjoy target practice and I hope to shoot it often. Most .45's I've shot are a bit too heavy for my liking after more than a few rounds at the range, and .22's tend to bore me :dunno
Plus I figure ammo will be slightly cheaper for a .40 anyhow.

when did this happen? when checked before they all "failed" because they lack a trigger guard and any sort of safety?

I knew there was a single shot exemption but didn't know anything about a single action exemption. The black powder Earl has been on the wishlist for awhile.

now to get the Bond .45LC pistols here :) any way they squeak in?

Actually they're light grey, but in any case: If there's some oblique parallel between the color of my garage and you not knowing what you're talking about I'm sure we'd all be glad to hear it.
