I'd rather pose on a real Black Shadow, thank you.

I think it matters who you are trying to impress.

I bet 1% of the non-riding public could tell the difference between a Ducati and any Japanese sport bike.

Most of these people can identify a Harley, or will incorrectly assume any bike sans plastics is a Harley.

Bikers might be impressed with a heavily customized Harley, but I would barely recognize it versus a vintage Duc.

Poor list of choices on the poll. I voted other. But if limited to the brands listed, then yes, Ducati.

Any of these would be much better, though:

If you're going to pose on Roaddog, you better look like this guy!

It is the rider that makes a bike a poser bike.:laughing

You can only list about 18 choices with a poll so I kept it simple and didn't leave anything out.:x

Not necessarily, it depends on your motive and bike.:cool

have pulled up many times, not thinking of anything other than being tired, cold and hungry - and if anyone there or thereabouts is thinking anything else - fuck 'em. seriously - all they have to do is watch me try and park (which i suck at big time), to know me and my bike are not worth two shits.

You and your bike are priceless.:thumbup

Don't know about poser bikes, but if you want a bike that draws a crowd wherever you are, get a Ural! I went to Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and when I got out to the parking lot there was a crowd of about 5 guys looking at my ride. They complimented me on my restoration, and were really shocked to find out it's only 6 years old! One guy was convinced it was a BMW. We get that everywhere we go - we get people pulling up beside us on the freeway with cameras an phones hanging out their windows taking pictures!

On Patriot Guard missions there will be upwards of half a million dollars worth of Harleys parked at the staging area and it's our humble ride that has the huge crowd of people surrounding it - almost makes you feel sorry for the Harley owners :teeth
