What type of Aesthetics do you look for?

How many of those have you seen on the road?

I've seen one, ever, at an IMS show. Beautiful bike. Too bad they never sold it to the public.

None, Moto Italiano had one on their showroom floor on display and my god it looked awesome in person.

That's one of those things that makes you scratch your head. Seems to me they would have sold a bunch. Depends on the price point of course, but a very sexy bike.

It got killed by the Piaggio buy out. They didn't want Guzzi "competing" with Aprilia for market segment when they bought them both.
:(

Most modern designs leave me cold. I could go for a scrambler though, and if it was just for looks alone, it'd have to be a vintage one.

But I'm not looking to go off-road. I'm interested in dual sports mainly for the seat height and other ergos.

I do love that green guzzi on page 1. And love vintage bikes, the older the better. It's great to be able to see the frame, engine, and function of all the various parts.

Tiger 1200 Explorer is the best-looking DS imo

My boss has a v11 Le Mans
Other than saying Moto Guzzi on the tank, having the engine oriented the same way, and being painted red, there isn't much else in common between that and the MGS-01.

But I would be happy to have one of those too. I've always liked the look and sound of the various V11 models.

A classic Guzzi showed up at my work the other day. Parked right next to me! I liked it. There was just something about it that I found cool:

OP as other have said Dual Sports are all about functionality. Their look is defined by their purpose.

That tiger is nice. Really nice. For me, and I don't know why, I don't care for bikes with beaks! :laughing Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick it outta my garage!

But back on point to the original question, the Super Tenere has a rugged sort of line that apeals to me; I like the way the body panels and air intakes are sculpted, I like the optional larger wind screen, and the way the rider is positioned. The over-all line is very good and the fit/finish are extremely good. It looks strong; and from what I have read, it is! So there is something to the aesthetic side of this machne. it has a smart and functional cockpt layout, and I do like the stance; good balance and good clearance. Love the shaft drive. It's just a really nice package. And it is a bigger bike, which I also like as I would be doing more on and lighter off-road than the super extreme off-road.

The bike above is such a cool vintage classic it's too cool for this survey. :twofinger

EDIT - apparently I'm the first post of page 2, so allow me to re-phrase - The last bike on page one is too cool for this survey. :twofinger

Hard to explain... When it looks clean and simple but you can yell a lot of thought process went into the engineering.

Nice job, that Kawi is sweet.

Ditto. I honestly didn't know this existed & was street legal and for sale in the US, much less California. Correct me if that is not the case.

However, what would be even more appealing would be the same chassis with the Ninja 250/300 twin in it. Why haven't they done this already?

Someone, please tell me that a (relatively) smooth, 70mpg, 70mph-capable dualsport commuter exists, before I take on another project..

If the things people have been calling a dual sport count, this one looks like a good choice:
