If you weren't riding beyond your skills (too fast, no matter what the posted limit is), why would braking inevitably put you on the ground?
Too much front brake while bike is leaned over, stemmed from seeing a cop and moment of panic. Which is basically what happened in that video.
In other words, riding over his head. Posted speed is not the issue, (lack of) skill is.
How is speed not an issue? At least the perception of speeding, anyway. How many people just hit the brakes "instinctively" every time they see a cop? I could understand doing that if you're on the freeway doing 80, but not if you were doing 70. What other reason do you have to hit the brakes just because you see a cop sitting on the side of the road?
I wouldn't say riding over his head, but poor braking control in panic situation sure.
Right. I believe that's known as a distinction without a difference.Poor braking control, but not riding over his head?Right. I believe that's known as a distinction without a difference.
Look we can argue nuisances of what qualifies as riding over the head until cows come home.
I love to be a nuisance while arguing nuance. If you can't get down the road and stay on your wheels when dealing with a wide variety of reasonably probable events (Look! A cop on a racer road! Never expected that!), you're riding over your head.
It's a poor location to park, it's all I am saying.
We'll have to agree to disagree on that.

..all I could come up with was a piece sign to him as I was way off the bike. The Lonster was right behind me and the officer gave him a thumbs up
