Work In Progress
We are so lucky here in the US. I believe that the US person spends less of his/her budget on food as a percentage, than any other place in the world.
We have an immigrant work force to thank for this.

The other is lentils and rice.
Prisoners too.
Scrambled egg sandwich.
With HOT SAUCE.
Eggs on toast is a definite go-to. Easy, fast, cheap, yummy.![]()
Best when its a lightly fried egg. Even better when there's some avocados that need to get used.

I might splash crystal on it, but I find most everything else would overpower the more delicate flavors.
Note to self: I need a new bottle of Crystal.
I do not believe in Ketchup. I put Hot Sauce on everything though. Mostly Sriracha, but I have some Tapatio and El Yucataco Green Sauce in there too. I buy Crystal when I am making Southern food like ribs or jambalaya, but I'm out right now. Cholula or GTFO.![]()
