wheelie teach

bill dixon learned how to do switchback wheelies using the wheelie teach rig...

if you cant wheelie a pedal bike... doing it on motorcycle is stupid..... pull out your bicycle, and go find the balance point... drag the rear brake.... cheap, "safe" and itl teach you ALOT... its the same feeling on the rear wheel of a bicycle and a moto...

It's actually harder to do it on a mountain bike... i've looped out mountain bikes more times than i can count... yet to loop out motorcycles (knock on wood in a big way).

so my suggestion is start on a motorcycle and work your way up to wheeling a mountain bike.

Its much easier on a bike... To actually hold a balanced wheelie. Ive looped out plenty of times on both

I wouldn't be caught dead with that thing attached to my bike. Let's just call it what it is...training wheels. :thumbdown

Mountain bikes often have BioPace chainrings which make them harder to wheelie. But not impossible.

I think its just as easy on my trek as it is on my kawi... the difference?

the trek sounds better when I land the front.
I've never looped my bicycle AND ended up on my back. (just jump off and plant it)
I get winded on the mountain bike.

the kawi.... cost alot of money when a POPO sees you do it.
fork seals are relatively easy but then i stink of fork oil...

since I cant seem to get comfortable with BP the kawi is nice... the distance I cover before its wound out looks alot better then the 20-30 feet I got on my mountain bike lol
