I have a new 08 GSX-R 1000 and i want to learn to stunt more than my current week bag-o-squid tricks, but i dont want to hurt the blackness. Were do you all recommend looking for a set up stunter biker? Would you recommend a 1 liter for a 6'3" 210 rider?

I know i shouldnt ask, but is there a bike out there that is a better stunter than the next? Also what should i look for when purchasing one?

I think i know a few of the goodies, but please educate me on a nicely set up bike?
Geared
rear hand brake
cage
12 o'clock bar
stabilizer
what else?

Well i am going to give everything on two or one wheels a try.
I have raced motocross, everything offroad, drag raced, flat tracked, super-moto, and a few track days. So i figured i can try this to, but i dont want to spill the new bike. Not great at anything, but just bout having fun.

why not try stunting on a dirtbike? it is cheap, wheelies easy, and not much damage if you drop it

Thanks for the advice on riding a dirt bike. I can wheelie my 450 and 250 for days and have no problem with balance point. I think its the cost diffrence that does not let me find it on the 1000. No big deal to loop out a dirt bike, but painfull on the pocket book on a new GSX-R.

I would assume with a geared down F4i you can bring the front end up at any speed. Good call i have a co-worker that just mangled her F4i.

Well if anybody knows of a bike with all the goodies all ready on it, post it. I dont need anything nice, just something with all the goodies to abuse.

I will hit cycle salvage when i get home. So who will set it up for me for some $$$$?

all you really need is the bike.

worry about gearing later; you should practice in 1st anyway.

maybe throw a crash cage on there for now. no need for a 12 o'clock bar or hand brake yet....

I learned on a dirtbike before trying anything on my street-bike. However I do not believe gearing/hb are required. The only thing I'd invest in if you're learning is a cage, and maybe some after-market clip-ons (since those usually get busted up in a fall its cheaper to replace the bar only). The rest you can add on later as you see fit.

Thats for the website and all the info. I will start coming craigslist and cycle salvage for an ugly F4I.

Who is giving lessons?
