build the fence anyway, on your side.. there is nothing they can do about you doing that. check the city's building code on this for height.

next get a one of the electric fences they use for pets and put that near the top of the fence.. so if they climb it... shock..

then invest in some tall bamboo, and plant it on the side they border. so you have now, wood fence, electric barrier, and bamboo wall so you cannot see or hear them.

get some cameras and put them in. even a camcorder to record their actions.

then, simply ignore them. if they come onto your property or bother you, they do at their own risk. they call, hang up... you can even file a restraining order against the lot.

you know, i have this record, yes vinyl, called sebastian speaks. it has a german shepherd barking and was marketed as a security device.. supposed to scare people away. i can transfer it to cd for you and you can play that through the loudspeakers you are going to put up, next to the moat and various spiked pits you dig.
 
You already mentioned it, but definitely keep an eye out for your dogs. They seem like the type who would poison someone's dog just to fuck with them.

+1 I did this shit, and had NO idea what the outcome would be. I caught my nextdoor neighbor selling drugs multiple times all past 1:00am. Mail video anonamously to SJPD with an address. No more neighbor... How odd.

+1 again, a friend of mine did the same and caught a muder, happen across the street from his house on tape!

+1 This is also MAJOR advice from a person who worked with K9 trainers, The best thing you can EVER train your dog NOT TO DO, is eat anything from strangers.

I can not tell you how many times I've found "burger" patties near my fence with Decon, Crushed Glass, Pills, etc in them. The worse part is they leave damn near no trace.

no doubt, maybe i should invite them in, on second thought maybe ill just leave my door open they will probally come in on their own.:teeth

Building a new fence without taking theirs down is not an option as theres about 6 inches to put a fence there and lots of thick concrete on both sides, Id have to rip out all the concrete and take down their fence to put a new one up. im just going to go the bamboo fencing route on this one and block out my entire yard from their view.

well i just got into it again with them, this time the boyfriend, the granddaughter and the little brother, boyfriend and little brother confront me as im getting out of my car after picking up the last sheet of bamboo i needed, (i was 1 short:laughing ) boyfriend asks me why i called his girl a dumb bitch last night, and after i answered him couldnt quite grasp the concept and kept asking, little brother chimes in every few seconds to tell me not to ever call his sister a bitch, I call him a squid tell him to do something useful like get a job and tell him to go away, which he does promptly while yelleng at me the whole time to never call his sister a bitch:laughing

At this point im not sure if boyfriend is just stupid and really doesnt understand what ive told him or if he's just standing there waiting to assult me.

granddaughter/ girlfriend now comes out and starts yelling and ends with "dont worry animal control will be here tommarow to take your dogs":rolleyes

I respond dont worry all the cats will be gone tonight and CPS was already there today while you were gone (which they were, visited and chatted with the grandmother and myself).
im at my wits end i feel as if there is going to be a confrontation/violence which i have already let him know i wont take it and wont let him try to push me or my family around. these people are straight low lifes and im actually concerned for my familys safety at this point.

I was thinking it might be smart to pack for a couple days as this family has a history of violence with each other and other people.

Its funny, when i wrote that first post last night i was more heated then anything else, never thought i would go as far as it did tonight with threats against me and my family and now me having to watch out for my familys well being due to some thug neighbors:wow
 
Call the cops and express your concerns to them now before the white trash compound has a reason to call the cops on you (i.e. wearing a gun). Don't talk to the neighbors anymore, just go in your house and call the cops on them.
 
I forgot to mention theres a bullet cam set up right now and i have the remote in my pocket to start the recording at any time. not much is happening there tonight as i think CPS spooked them a little.

oh and im pretty sure im allowed to openly carry on my property, i dont think ill walk around the front yard with it on but ill keep it close at hand should the need arise. I by no means think it's ok or condone carrying a gun around at all times with out the proper permit, but when it comes to my family i want the fuckers to know i dont fuck around and im not going to play there games.:x

if you walk outside with your gun in a show of force, it will be all over for you. they win.

you also do not want to give them the idea that they should get one of those too. keep the final solution option to yourself.

don't have any more contact with. just ignore them. if they are that bad, are they really worth even acknowledging that they exist. what you say to them could come back to bite you on the ass. stay away from the granddaughter and do not communicate with her or be anywhere near her. she is a minor, right, she could do a lot of damage if she says you sexually assaulted her, calling her a bitch is not going to improve things. if they go on your property, ask them to leave, that is the last thing you should ever say to them, if they do not after one polite request, make the call and get it documented, and then get a restraining order. depending on the order and the distance it states, that may end your problems right there with the garage dwellers. don't even waste your energy on them.

your child's welfare is not worth risking for the pride of a snappy comeback insult.

they are bored and you are their entertainment.
ignore them and they will stop.

I do believe she is 18 now, and i have in no way tried to talk to them, i pretty much tried to avoid them all day until i was confronted getting out of my car, I agree that avoiding them is the best solution, and i did talk to the police tonight as i have a friend who works at the sub station down the street, and he took a report of the incident of last night and tonight, ive pretty much covered all the bases that need to be covered.

Ive been more then civil to these people and even spent 200 dollars today to improve upon their original complaint which was the dogs barking, but now they have escalated this into something thats bigger then it ever needed to be. ill say again i wont just sit here and take the abuse from a bunch of little punks who think there going to get the upperhand on me. situational awareness should always be the first rule of engagement, meaning that im more then aware of whats going on and my prime function at this point is to keep my family and myself safe.

the job in L.A. or minneapolis is startint to sound better and better as the night goes on:cool

Document every single contact with these "people". Call the cops. Call the cops again. Call the cops again. Keep it up because every time the police show up there's a paper trail created showing your neighbors in a bad light.

As far as protection goes, openly packing heat would be a very bad idea. Having a tazer handy would be prudent.
 
Yes you can file against a neighbor. You can prevent them from ever approaching you once they leave their property. You can carry ON your property.

You need to start a paper trail RIGHT NOW and quit fucking around trying to reason with them. Document document document. Run a camera on them. Call the police and MAKE COMPLAINTS>

They will keep bitching and calling you names as long as you engage with them in anger, which you are doing. Once you start the name calling it's all over.

I have gone through the same thing with drug dealing trash neighbors. They are gone and I am still here. It took for fucking ever. They go tired of the cops showing up, the noise complaints, etc.

If you don't document, keep a journal and use the police as your resource, you are only going to get more frustrated.

You are taking it personally, and you feelings are hurt. SO ARE THEIRS!!!!!! Despite the fact that they are aggravating and do not live to your standards. Just give up, be hurt, and call the cops. As long as you try to make it your way, it wil continue.
