thanks Mike.

So I have to take the motorcycle to the Shop to check it out. ?? Is there any ways can I do it at the Owner's Place. I doesn't want to trouble him.

If he wants to sell it, and you're ready to buy pending a successful inspection (that you're paying for), he'd be happy to take it there for them to do it. If not, then I'd start thinking there was something bad going to turn up in that inspection ........ and walk away.

Thanks fast4wrd for the response. I did not ask him yet. Need to ask him, between any suggestions near campbell for the inspection will be helpfull.

I would also recommend Advance Cycle Service. Jim Davis will be straight with you and thorough in examining the bike. The seller should be willing to take it there. Having a written inspection report from ACS should be a plus in selling the bike, assuming that it came out clean.

Having recently had a full service there on my Ducati 888 before I sold it helped convince the buyer that the bike was in good shape. He called Jim and talked to him for a bit and was reassured of the bike's condition.

Talk the seller into taking it there and you can negotiate the cost of the inspection (which should be reasonable).

Just agree on the price assuming it passes inspection and I'm sure the seller won't mind. I won't buy a bike without a mechanic's inspection anymore.

When I sold my bike, I met up with the seller at Santa Clara Cycles. They were pretty thorough with the inspection. Checked the tires, brakes, controls, listened to the engine, condition of the fluids, general condition of the bike.
The buyer paid $40 or $50 for it.

+1 on Jim. Had some work done on a Ducati by Jim when he was at Nichols. Stand up guy, I'd trust him with any of my bikes.

An R6, especially 06+, is a lot of bike for a new rider. Expect to drop your first bike at least once, too, and plastics are expensive.

Unless you've got extensive dirt experience, I'd suggest looking at something a bit tamer. 650 twins (Ninja 650/ER6-N, SV650/SV650S/Gladius) make much better bikes for beginners, and in my opinion are much better streetbikes period once set up properly. The torque curve on a 600 I4 isn't too pretty, they really have to be wound up to go fast. In comparison, 650 twins have a lot more grunt down low.
