Just curious, if you own a mini and dont race with SMRRC... why not?

What do we have to do to get your business next season? We are going to have a minimum of three tracks next seasond possibly two more pending arragements with the facilities... but we want to know, where are the racers at?

Last season was one of the biggest we had, but it was full of new riders. I know there are at least 20 people with mini's who do not show up and race.

Blast us if you must, we just want to know what we are doing wrong... if anything.

Thanks

Josiah

They got two seasons of my money and I got lots of trophies too. Big fun.
Don't worry I just had a son and he'll be there soon.

New job with long hours has shifted my priorities. I would be lucky to attend an open track day(s) :(

As for attracting more members? better advertising and promoting the SMRRC club, and possibly offering more weekend open track days for those that cannot get away for Monday only practices. Doing so will offer more incentive and motivation to those wishing to contend as a front runner rather than a back marker.
I do understand there is the Saturday practice day before a race event, but that one day does not give enough track time to contend with those who visit the track regularly.......imo

I no longer have a race-ready mini.

WHEN I return, it'll most likely be on a mini-motard.

Which tracks?

All in NorCal?

Can you tell us what tracks are confirmed?

A greater variety of NorCal tracks - not just Stockton, but Sears, Dixon, Davis, Prairie City, Atwater?

We can't do SoCal races. It's harder to be invested in a series when I know I'm going to automatically miss any SoCal rounds.

I still have the TTR125 to Mod Thunder specs and the 150R to race, and my husband will be getting a 150R in time for the coming season, as well.

Keep us posted, I have 3 minis and my buddy has 2, we would love to be involved.

Its a trek from SLO, and as mentioned above weekend open track days would be a must.

I have a kx65 I am hoping to take part in the SMRCC next year. I also have two buddies that have race ready minis that would make a couple of events as well.

Looks like fun... how much to get started for one of these little mini's?

Can't wait for the season to start!! I'll be there in the for the Pro GP Vet class!

no job = no money to race. when i have a job my rat derbi will be back

I have a mini, in SoCal now, and still can't race since I don't have the time or $ to get the thing running properly now. Give me another year or so and hopefully I can join in the fun one day.

if you can get a bitchin deal on a kx 65 you will spend about $650 on a wheel and tire set up (new), and about $250 for a decent suspension set up. I have about $1500 in to my bike total, and its a BLAST i mean a GODDAMNED BLAST at the kart tracks.

You can also just get some new tires for a stock kx65 and they are good enough to have alot of fun with. but they are highly addictive.

DO IT! :ride

I do but it's only used for the street, it's too pretty to crash :p I'd start going to Stockton again if they had practice time on the weekends (instead of Monday)
