who wears their jacket when not riding?

Nope, never wear it when not riding. Looks stupid wearing a leather jacket with armor inside the elbows and shoulders.

in san francisco, many men wear full leathers and they don't even own a motorcycle....

there are many that wear Harley logo clothing but don't even have a harley let alone a motorcycle as well....

have a harley,i don't even like harleys,no offence to harley
owners.:(

I wonder if all the people i see with the West Coast Choppers stickers and shirts own one of those $40,000++ bikes?

Hey if someone wants to wear their bike jacket even when not riding more power to them, its just not my thing. :)

Yeah, I find that odd, too. There's a guy down the street that owns a HD F150 but I don't think he owns a Harley. That is so WRONG!!

I think that's funny as shit... Matter of fact, today I saw a freaking Ford Escort with a huge West Coast Choppers decal on the rear window.

I never wear my jacket when I'm not riding. When I returned from Paris last year, I had to wear a motorcycle jacket on the plane, I bought it while I was there and I couldn't fit it into my small travel backpack, I felt really weird wearing it. I wondered if people thought I didn't know it was a motorcycle jacket.

I usually wear my helmet and full suit even when caging, can never be too safe. And then especially when Im playing Moto GP on Xbox, Im always suited up and wering my helmet, makes it more realistic.

I wear my Tour Master armored jacket more around town (in poor weather only) then I do on the bike. I almost always wear my suit for riding.

A kid on my boat has a beat to hell primered several colors ricer Honda CRX (with prerequisite wing) and always wears his WCC or OCC sweaters (with his sideways hats).

I had a contractor on board this week who was a RUB. HD boots, jeans, HD shirt, HD sweater, HD hat (probably an HD ear ring and wig too). I overheard him mention the wet weather, and that he doesn't ride in it. Damn, he has the appearal of being a hard core biker though...

The only people on board who ride in the rain are the sport bike riders (Ducati ST2, Buell X1, Yamaha YZF-600R):laughing

I just wear my baseball hat backwards, cargo pants, flip flops and no- fear sweat shirt.... perfect attire for the casual squid......

depending on the jacket style, why not. moto jackets are some of the best leather, thickness wise at least, liner, etc. plus it's easier to go car/bike/whatever w/o having to constantly change. or say you're stuck somewhere at least you can zone out and imagine you're riding :thumbup sometimes I use my touring jacket just slip the armor out real quick. I'd like one of those plain ICON leather jackets for casual dayz since I'm still a squid. :instance :twofinger re: what others are wearing in the movie theater or restaurant or whateva, I don't give a flying saucer really :laughing

There are some mc jackets that look fine for regular wear. You can always remove the armour so that the jacket doesn't look too bulky. As people have already stated there are plenty of none riding folks that sport the Hardley look. I use to wear a Marlon Brando type MC jacket around all the time when I was younger. Balls out punk fashion that was. I have a cheap ass Euro MC leather jacket with some nice air brushed art on it that I wear every so often. Nothing wrong with wearing MC style jackets. Now MC boots, that shit is NOT kewl. :laughing

I have an AlpineStar textile jacket with the armor removed that I wear in cold/wet weather. It doesn't really look like a motorcycle jacket though.

Just go to San Jose state on a nice day, you'll see all kinds of guys walking around with their jackets and holding their helmets proudly.

And i'm sure that (see below)

I do wear on occasion a nylon Bates jacket when not motorcycling.
