I Like!!!
After installing Windows 7 from XP I cannot connect to the internet.

I can connect to my router just fine. But the connection stops there.

I have no trouble with any of my other computers, my XBOX360, etc...

WTF WINDOWS 7 I HATE YOU!!!

Bootcamp on Mac. Everything was working fine on XP. Installed W7Pro and neither the wireless nor wired ethernet will work. They'll both connect to my network, I can even browse pictures/music/video files on my Macbook from my XBOX360, but I can't connect to the internet.

Check your IP Settings, set to DHCP, then make sure your DNS is resolving.

Open up command prompt.

ipconfig /flushdns (press enter)

netsh winsock reset (press enter. It'll prompt you to restart)

After a bit of research it might be a bit more deep then that. I've not ran across 1 article yet explaining how to correct this issue. but apparently everyone with a macbook (and pro) have this issue.

Still looking.

Is it only when running Bootcamp? I have no issues w/ VMware Fusion.

After trying Anthony's method, try opening up a command prompt and then typing in:
Code:
ping www.google.com

If you are able to ping successfully, then chances are your internet browser is just being quirky.

So on the netsh winsock reset command I get "The requested operation requires elevation <Run as administrator>, but the thing is, I AM running as admin. Wtf?!?

Can't ping.

Did you right click Command prompt and click Run as Administrator?

Fixed that with google. Let's see if ping works on restart.

Yes, on bootcamp. If I already installed, can I start over with a VMware install? Do I need to wait 8 months til Mac supports Windows 7?

I've tried assigning a mac address (some websites/threads recommend this). I've tried all of the above. It's very strange, everything works within the router side of my network. But Windows 7 can't get from the router to the internet. XP and Snowleopard can no problem.

I'm running one of the new macbook pros, purchased Novemberish.

Does your router see your computer? Can you log into your router via the web from Win7?

Yep. Weird, right? I can access my router. I can access my Win7 computer from my XBOX. I can access my Linkstation (which is connected to my router) from my Win7 machine. But my Win7 machines won't go out to the internet. Total WTF.

Machines is plural. Do you have other windows 7 computers who are having the same symptoms as your macbook? :|
