Work Tables

If the work table doesn't have a lift mech. how do you raise it with the bike on it? :confused

Imagine you would have to use a ramp to get the bike up. I am going to check out that powerstands one and see if they will give a racers discount on it, that would be great to take to the track, along with the small aluminum folding ramp I have somewhere in the garage I think it would work well.

I have the powerstand and I like it. Saves your back when working on the bike and is foldable for transportation. It also has non-skid tape where the tires go to help keep the bike from sliding as well as a removable bar up front to keep the front tire against it if wanted.

The same ramp I use to load my rgv into my van.

Anything Carlos Neves does is of the highest quality. I have no idea what he charges for his tables but do know that he does this work as a sideline outside of his day job and does it primarily for the love of the sport and all it's aspects rather than a business and profit. Carlos has been part of the AFM and local racing community for some time. He's one of those guys that has helped countless upcoming racers who knew jack about what they were doing when they started (like me) and given free advice and help. If you buy something from him then you have the assurance that he'll not only be there at the next race meet but if there should ever be a problem will fix it for free. Carlos is one of the few guys around this area (the AFM area) that are a local gold mine of talent and expertise (another is Gerry of GP Frame and Wheel). Spend your money locally on this guy and know it's well spent.

keep us updated on that

yeah, they said they would not give a racers discount on just the stand, have to buy all the other stuff too, and I dont need it....but I called PARTS411 who sells it at a discount, and you can get there racers deal if you sign up to make it even cheaper, I think that is the route I am going to go.

Alternatively, you can sign up for Power Stands sponsorship and get the work table, front stand, and rear stand for $365, free shipping.

At that price, it may be worth selling off my existing Pit Bull front/rear stands and become a Power Stands convert.

Damn straight it would be a good deal provided you can find a buyer for your pitbulls.
