World Series 2016: Cubs vs. Indians

In the worst scandal since the black Sox of 1918, MLB just announced major betting scandal involving cubs, sounds like they'll lose the trophy
Why are you going to come in here and post this BS? :wtf
If there was such a thing, it would be on the Cleveland or MLB website on the front page. It isn't.

I watched the last 15 minutes of the game. I haven't watched any baseball for at least 10 or 15 years . I'm good for another 15 now.

It always confuses me when people feel compelled to chime in to conversations just to let everybody know that they don't care about what's being talked about.

Am I the only one that read it for the joke it was?

(Might have been funnier in 2005 when the White Sox won, ya know, since timing is everything in comedy...)

On another note, Steve Bartman will not attend the parade...

"We don't intend to crash the parade," Murtha (Bartman's lawyer) said. "The one thing that Steve and I did talk about was if the Cubs were to win, he did not want to be a distraction to the accomplishments of the players and the organization."

This poor guy deserves an apology from every Cub fan that blamed him unfairly (rather than Dusty Baker's complete failure as a manager) for the collapse in 2003. In spite of everything, he remained loyal to his team, and has shown tremendous amounts of class. He owes Chicago nothing, but they sure owe him.

My brother & his fam are in route from the west suburbs to downtown for the parade. They had to drive several stops further out to get on an available train. Trains weren't even stopping at his normal pickup since they were filling up so fast.

I wager this parade will be larger then the giants one a few years back .

Pic isn't even near the rally area - this is Michigan and Jackson

Damn, you're probably right!
He could have at least posted something in white text saying 'Gotcha!'. :laughing

The political forum makes posting of incredibly improbably claims as fact from highly questionable sites, guess I've been spending too much time there.
