I like the larger wheels.
I’m trying to imagine the practical uses for this in its proposed off road setting.
Scooting around a campsite?
I’m sure urban dwellers could use this too but it’s a lot bigger than existing scooters.

I am torn over a lot of the new applications of battery/electric motor propelled devices.

I guess I could be called a hypocrite.

I ride an enduro emtb, in low power mode, on all the trails I can.

But I have a hard time seeing in inventions like this and being excited.

Same with the electric foil surfboard ripping around the lake.
Maybe it's just latent techbro hate because the first time I saw one of those things was a news article about zuck riding one of those on Tahoe and I was instantly repulsed.

Same goes for the One-wheel / forward-facing electric unicycles on land

Also, @littlebeast , I'm in the same boat shopping for a utility ranch quad. This is a departure for me as I've also always hated quads lol.
4x4, winch, racks, strong enough to tow a trailer full of firewood, a wood chipper, a log splitter, up steep muddy trails, after it helps build those trails.

My property is very close to a premier Can-Am dealer, and the outlander 700 XT max looks awesome, but you can't beat the Honda Foreman for a work quad.
Also considering Suzuki King quad, Yamaha Grizzly 700.
Used prices are frustratingly high.

Can-Am makes an electric outlander, but I don't trust messing with that battery stuff for this kind of work.

I can't see rolling fast on this, way too little to hang on to.
Foot straps would help, up to the point of falling off it, then a big liability.
Water crossings ?

Sailboards have foot straps, but dragging thru water doesn't leave road rash.
Curious about those foils though, up and flying, it should require less battery than a board/boat to run at speed.

Kicked my butt for waiting so long to get a ranch quad, man what a game changer for all mentioned by agustiron. I don't use the winch much, but when needed you really need it! I got a deal on it (Artic Cat 500cc) used and it was from a hunter (I'm not, but for ground squirls!) and he put a gun rack on it. Damn, that rack is super useful! Perfect for long handle tools, chain saw, limb lobbers , ladder, etc.

I'll second that, I have one that I haul golf clubs, or a paddle, anything long, handy to have.
The looks I got, it was a S x S poker run thru the desert on a day forecast for big rain.
Everybody was asking about it,
I told them I wasn't riding this event without a paddle, I think they missed the forecast, didn't see the humor.

Isn't the idea of stand-up for stunts and tricks? Same thing with standup jetskis

Standup jetskis are far more fun, for me, than sit down waverunners.

They are also harder to ride, which is why most prefer waverunners which don't take much skill.

There's a Max XT 850 in nice condition in San Diego and several in PA. Philly costs about another $500 or so to transport. There's several XT 1000 MR's as well....one Is a 25', brand new In crate as well in Philly. The ones that run tomorrow at the PA location are average condition. The 850/ 1000's are about 9-10K or so in good condition. Go here NPA vehicle search and let me know if you can search what's coming up. I can't tell cause I'm not sure if a login cookie gives me access (even logged out) to the menu tree that other's can't see. The 850 XT Max in SD is what I'd shoot for, but it's not listed for any upcoming auction. Most times these will get listed within 60 days or so, but sometimes it's longer.

I like the Can-AM stuff cause it looks like a cartoon and is Bombardier...who makes the best sit down PWC's, IMO.

It's been 30 years, but it should come back quickly. Didn't spend a ton of time on them, but came up to speed one summer while visiting my brother who had a pair.
