Cigar?
Boy did I miss out - back in the day all we got was a cigar.

People were so pissed off when we decided we didn’t want to know the sex of our kids until birth. Had way more invested in it emotionally than we did.![]()
Nice conclusion jumping.
I never said I "use" it. I have heard it uttered with some degree of frequency because like it or not (like many other unfortunate words) it is part of modern vernacular. You have heard it too. Should I just make the assumption you also use it?
I merely said it reminded me of a term I have heard before.
But thanks for the ethics lesson, dad. I sure can learn a lot from you beginning with condescending uninformed smugness.
I'll never understand why people think anyone gives a fuck what gender their unborn child is

When you add up the numerous hours and gray hairs that you acquire to get your kids(s) to that level, it's easier to understand why it's such a big deal to parents.People also don’t give a shit that someone’s kid is an HONOR ROLL STUDENT but parents have to stick that BS bumper sticker on their shitbox car.

It's also a big deal for your kid's future and one of the people that sees that bumper sticker is the kid who achieved that.
Gender reveal parties are a recent thing, they only started a few years ago when people started posting them up on IG and FB. 100% these parents did it for the gram likes.
