WTF with the chemtrail/contrails whatever?

Next question: why, on the doppler radar maps, is there frequently a circular formation of what looks like rain (because its green and yellow), northeast of Rio Vista?? Often on completely dry days, it looks like its raining there. This is a year round deal that I see it. Because of the drought, I have worried every possible storm, as well as wondering what my moto-commute might be like...I keep wanting to ask Prince Charles, I mean, Bill Martin from KTVU about it, should I have a celebrity encounter (he lives in Orinda, so its plausible).

One of the first things I noticed when moving out west was the difference in clouds. You don't seem to get the variation that you get elsewhere in the country here in the bay area.
I have noticed variation more this year for sure.

Specifically notice this part... "The dBZ values increase as the strength of the signal returned to the radar increases. Each reflectivity image you see includes one of two color scales. One scale (far left) represents dBZ values when the radar is in clear air mode (dBZ values from -28 to +28). The other scale (near left) represents dBZ values when the radar is in precipitation mode (dBZ values from 5 to 75)."

On days like today Radar would be set to clear air mode. Now look at that area on Google maps...

You've got onshore air flow taking the cool, air from over the bay, funneling it up the delta and crossing that big brown patch of land. Just a guess, but the temperature change the density of the air maybe causing fog or possibly causing change in the density of the air. When it's set to clear air, changes like that may get picked up.

Here's the reason as explained to me by my possibly crazy friend:

Agreed that your friend is crazy. Assuming they are right, why do they do that in the middle of summer when there is no sight of rain coming for months on end. You're friend doesn't know what "nano particles" are and is just regurgitating what they are reading.

They're releasing a substance that will spread out in the sky and block out solar rays. The goal is to counteract global warming by "global dimming"
High altitude airway J126, J65, and J84 make an A right in that area. Also there are lots of airways that make a V, and an aircraft could get vectored in a perpendicular direction to make an A.
Some people believe that you can make the chemtrails disappear by spraying vinegar. I encourage all Barfers to try it.

Meh, just figure out a way to force a volcano to erupt and you'll counter the global warming trend a bit. The bigger the eruption the more effective the counter.

and your self-proclaimed knowledge of atmospheric science and/or jet propulsion isn't just "regurgitating what you've read/heard"?
to answer your question, "they do this" all year round. just at select times. only a fool in denial can't tell the difference between commercial jet vapor trails that disappear rather quickly, and thick/billowy/persistent streaming-white trails that hold shape for up to an hour and then spread out and remain for many more hours, turning an otherwise clear day into a hazy "cloudy" mess. btw, I recall a couple of light rain showers over the last few months in the early a.m
anyway, geo-engineering is real. it's been going on for decades. no need to call out names of questionable secret societies... there's plenty of documentation to be gleaned out there on the net (for now, anyway) of govt-sponsored plans of weather engineering going back to the 70s.
instead of being online witticists and know-it-alls, many of you would be well-served challenging your groupthink notions and (re)educating yourselves.

The presence of particles makes it possible for droplets to condense. Putting nanoparticles into the atmosphere would enhance droplet formation.

Sorry. Like I said, I saw the A this morning and it was buggin' me, man. And it does take a while for them to clear up. I guess that's an atmospheric phenom too. I have certainly seen the straight focused kind that disappear cleanly as they go. These last a lot longer, whatever that means.

The problem with doing that is, there's so much bullshit out there. Any conspiracy theorist can create a website, selectively providing information that "proves" THEIR point of view. While selectively leaving out other information that doesn't.
Meanwhile, scientists have already explained how these things can happen. But I guess that isn't good enough.
I am not a scientist, but it seems to me that if it was so easy, as you claim, to distinguish "chemtrails" from natural ones, then smarter people than you or I would have already done so long ago, documented it, and taken their evidence to the proper authorities and/or media.
Not to mention that in order to blanket a sufficiently large part of the country, for so many years, thousands of people would probably need to be knowingly involved.
Are we proposing that only a handful of guys are tampering with the nation's fuel supply? Then they wouldn't have any control over when and where that tampered fuel was used. We'd see chemtrails everyday, everywhere. Since that isn't happening, I guess that rules out that theory.
Or are we proposing that some sort of extra equipment/chemicals are loaded onto each flight, selectively? Then that would exponentially increase the number of people involved.
