hey you
never took much notice of a woman i work with – have only spent occasional time together. spent this week with her. she wears glasses, so her eyes are always somewhat obscured. weirdest thing was sitting next to her and noticing them for the first time. her eyes are yellow. lemon yellow, with a ring of green around the outside. i could not stop myself from staring. she seems otherwise normal. alien? :laughing

notice any similar oddities among your acquaintances?

I have green-hazel eyes with a very dark limbal ring and central heterochromia.
Occasionally when people have never seen my eyes in bright sunlight it freaks them out because my eyes look mostly green in low light or not direct light and then in bright sunlight a golden ring shows up around my pupil with tons of gold flecks spread through the rest of my dark green iris.

First time someone pointed this out to me I was in the car without sunglasses and they pointed it out in the rear view minor and jokingly accused me of being a werewolf. I couldn't stop staring while sitting at lights.
:laughing

The science behind eye color is pretty cool though!

I have seen this once before. Invoked major stiffness. I have a thing about eye color.

That would be kind of hawt, actually. Second on my list to emerald green.

I dated a guy in college with gold eyes. The first time i laid eyes on him, he was stepping off a curb to cut through the quad. His long jet black hair was blowing in the wind and he reached up and swept it back. I was intrigued enough to follow him to the library. When he introduced himself and I got a good look at those gold eyes, I was smitten. He had a pristine red 64 1/2 Mustang and taught me about wine. I later broke up with him because I was catching feelings (I was fresh out of a 9-year relationship).

He has been with a wonderful guy now for 20 years. :laughing

My eyes are light brown, but in bright sun they are orange I'm told. I'm almost always wearing sunglasses outdoors, so once in a while someone will catch it if I'm sitting in direct sun inside. Both of my sisters and my dad have black eyes, so their pupils are really hard to see. Eye color is fun--I always think that the hazels, blues and greens are so pretty.

I think the 'other oddities' aspect of this thread might get neglected.

Anybody wanna post oddities?

Personally I think it's odd that young people who live one exit away and drive slow, buy yellow Porsches

Every time we look into your eyes...

I really don't have a chest, so my eyes must be pretty blah. :laughing

Other oddities...a white streak in otherwise dark hair.

Not on me, ya weirdo...in general. :laughing (trying to get thread back on topic!)
