Yellow Vinyl for number plates - where do i get?

Not true. Even as a yellow plater, you can request a number. If I recall correctly, you can't request any number below 500, though.

I did too, and applied for numbers, but didn't get any of them even though they're available! Haha!

No worries though, I'll consider it as a graduation present when I get my white plate.

What numbers did you apply for? My bet is that they are not avaialble for first year racers.
 
Actually, i was told to choose any available number between 700 and 900 for first year. I sent my application with choice of 5 numbers that are available. (referred the latest 2012 Roster on afm forum)

I'm not a first year racer, but still a novice as I only did 4 weekends last year.

I think it was just easier to give me my same number. Plus I do think my choices were too low.

Not complaining, more joking. I'll put in for the number I wan next year with my white plate. Dont mind having to wait since im a yellow plater.

Abhijit, you only get 3 numbers. 5 would be hard to fit on a plate anyways. And besides, the kids sport their area code, not their zip code...:laughing
 
I think he meant there were five different 3-digit numbers he was able to choose from....


Or maybe I fell into the (sar)chasm. :dunno
 
do 515! btw, ill have time to paint your skins before I leave so dont wad the thing up today at T-hill and well do a wicked paint job on it using cans and a few Laguna IPA's!! lol, iv got paint too!... just not that kawi green, your ninja was the only ninja Iv housed in my shop! LOL, but I loved every second of it, it turned out great and im stoked to finally have the thing on track! Send me some pics of today! Cant wait for may 8th man!

I found affordable plastics to race for my first year, that just happen to be kawi green and I'm already talked about being the bastard child in the pits because of the color of my bike, thats all I can afford. Thanks for welcoming the new guys Wicked.

Man, we can buy the paint and do the white/green scheme. Ya, the bike was spot on with everything except the suspension.
