Your drunk on location.

Oh and that one time I decided to take a quick dip in the "hot tub" at the motel 6 in Fresno after day one of Rich Oliver's Mystery School.

Empty is probably the safest way to experience the hot tubs at any of the Motel 6's around here :laughing

You mean like the time I took mushrooms at the beach on 4th of July and saw a Leprechaun? I know it was because he had on a bowler hat and was carrying a shelelai. It was actually a little person who was scared as fuck of me because I kept screaming, "Give me your pot of gold!"

Eventually we saw all these flashlights coming down to the beach. We thought it was Cops but it was Marines and they brought real mortars and launched them into the ocean for hours. Everybody put down their little fireworks and enjoyed the show. i.e. concussion blasts.

I don't like dishonest people so this is a very confusing statement.

I tend to lie out of kindness. "Nice bike!" When I know it's a dog. "Great dog!" When I know it's poorly trained and rude. "Lovely family!" When I know rehab failed and a loan was taken out to make bail. "Cool suit!" When the cut is poor and fits like a paper sack.

When I drink, the insults fly.

You missed your calling as the guy who puts the words up on a teleprompter for 'news' anchers on the network. :laughing :twofinger

I posted this in the wrong thread at 2 am the other night LOL

I really don’t drink a lot. Maybe 1 beer or whisky a month pre-Covid. But when we were locked down in March 2020, I visited my sister almost once or twice a week because there was nothing to do. So we drank a lot. Mostly Tequila, lime juice and goddamn Mexican Squirt :love

My family room looks like Bev Moist.

When travel opened up last year I went to Thailand and celebrated my friend’s birthday - gal on the left. I drank 18 Tequilas and 6 whiskys over a 3-4 hour period. Thanks to all the “training” in 2020 and 2021, I felt great.

We finished the night at a local bar with this fantastic band from the countryside (Isaan :love). My friend was lit up. She knew the band members; same hometown. (I love you forever, Lead Singer Gal!)

A Fat Chick pushed my friend. I pushed back. Then Fat Chick’s guy friend cold-cock rabbit punched me :love I’m an ole geezer so I let it go. No need being Tough Guy at my age and in a foreign country ruled by a military dictator :laughing

I’ve since returned to my 1 drink a month.

Fun times. Nice meeting everyone.

I used to ride my bicycle to the local pub to avoid driving while drunk. I woke up in my bed one Sunday morning and didn't remember coming home. I thought I had left my bicycle at the bar, but when I got up, it was in the living room. I thought, wow, I can ride a bike when I too drunk to remember. I started telling my barmates that my bike was barn sour, and would always take me home. :gsxrgrl

I've heard that most Swedish 20 somethings ride their bikes to the bar. :laughing

I've also heard that in some bars the first thing you encounter upon entering the bathroom is a barf bucket. :twofinger

I had an aquaintence friend get a drunk in public on a bicycle and one just walking.

I am lucky to be in walking distance if I have had one too many. Uber if two too many. :laughing

It's been a while since I've been on a bender, but I do remember a day in 1962, in Landstuhl, Germany, when a friend and I were playing frisbee with cardboard beer coasters and decided to flick them at a passing city bus.

It ended with the German cops chasing us down, kicking us in the ass, and jailing us, then calling the MP's, who, in turn, called our dads, who picked us up at the town jail at 3AM.

Willy's dad smacked him so hard he knocked him down, my dad just was indifferent.

Then we got "investigated" by an army investigator, who was the father of another friend. He said not to worry, it wasn't diddly.

The odd thing is that today, that friend is still someone I am in contact with, sixty some years later.

LOL, if you were in Kaiserslautern, my dad was one of those MP's. :laughing

I definitely drink more right now while I'm unemployed. Not out of sadness or depression. I'm fine. I just have a lot more free time. Every so often I'll stop for 3-4 days to remind myself

I would ride my bicycle to the bar if I didn't have to ride uphill on the way home. It's nice living in walking distance to the local watering hole. Celebrated a friend's birthday there recently. On the way out, one of the food runners said, "You don't look like you're good to drive home."

"You're right, I'm not." :party

I try to avoid pictures while drinking but these days, sometimes it's hard to avoid the camera. :p

LOL, back in the good old days on BARF, many similar events happened with motorcycles. :laughing

Here's a better bicycle story. One of the fair maidens that hung out there decided to come home with me. I told her I was on my bicycle, and she said "I'll ride on the handlebars". So off we went, passing the last beer back and forth to my place. I couldn't help but think of all the guys with Corvettes, etc. going home alone. :laughing:laughing

I hadn't thought about it before now, but there are no pictures of me drunk. Just had a generous Kentucky Mule and am not taking a selfie.

Back in college, I took a girl back to her dorm on my bicycle. Riding a bike with a girl on the handlebars is one of life’s greatest experiences!
