1970 bikes, brings back some memories. The commentator well, let's say it is one man's opinion. Those older will notice they show the wrong bike at times. I enjoyed seeing how little some great bikes cost and what they sell for now, again one man's opinion. Yes I wish I still had my '77 RD400.
This is pretty good.
As a history fan I have seen the big dog of Egyptian History many times.
Heard he has been less than fair to many archaeologists. This would imply he is taking credit for some of their work and hiding shit from the world. Skip to 2.00 to get to it.
How does one expand their mind if they don't like a single aspect?
You missed the amazing scientist that challenge the established line of thinking. Using technology to go beyond standard archeology.
One them gave quite the physics lesson that I thoroughly enjoyed and the time factors of when this occurred were fascinating.
Do I buy into to all of it. No, but the standard line of science has been changed throughout history as we make verifiable progress.
Established line of thinking is backed by decades of archaeology, scientific research, and careful analysis by people who spend their entire lives studying such things. Videos like this can be a fun "what if" but that's the extent I'll take it to..
Interesting is this dude keeps stopping archeological discovery.
Someone finds something and he stops it. Arrogant man for sure. His appearance on Rogan watching him say there is only one authority on the pyramids is ME.
There was some wack "what if's" in there, but more solid science too.
Hawas is totally hindered by the Egyptian government. I don't doubt that he has a genuine interest in learning as much as possible about their antiquities and heritage, but he's also a government official and beholden to their policies (which are, imo, negatively influenced by Islam)
