No report? How was the first trackday on the 08.

I can confirm that the 08 does lack some at the bottom and is geared tall, I know the exhaust has the bike choked up. Comming out of turn 11 in second gear and pinning it, everyone I was with pulled away from me the first 1/4 of the straight BUT as we were entering T1 I walked on everyone into T2, but when I bumped in to A group just caught everyone. I redlined 3rd all the way into T2 dropped to 2nd gear and stayed there all the way to the exit of T4 were I hit 3rd for all of a second the dropped again to 2nd for T5. I played with T5 in 3rd but I felt I had a better drive out of T5 in second. Basicly was in 2nd the whole track keeping the revs high. Could have short shifted out of third into the corkscrew but rather stayed in 2nd and got on the brakes. Going to Thill monday and will see how the bike is stock on a faster track. +2 teeth n the rear for Laguna

On the gas! Also found that the front springs are super stiff in the front and the rear spring was to soft for me (250lbs) Dave Moss spent a session with me dialing in the bike. Dave is a true professional, if you ever have the opportunity to do business with the man I highly recommend it.

I think I went through T11 in first but squarded it off to much from dropping it in 1st to late and blowing my line (which I did everywhere else too ). Now that I think back 1st probally makes more sense getting more drive out, still need more time in the saddle at the track. It was my first time a Laguna and comming off a lowside from my last track day so I was keeping it somwhat conservative and working through the lowside jitters. Got a tow from R1P (a very good rider) and he showed me I need to work my lines more. I was on diablo supercorsa SC2's 29/27 psi, the bike handles way better than my 05 did, quicker turn in. I need to respring the rear (thanks again Dave for spending time with me). All in all very happy! Still need more seat time. My pics sucked so I didn't get any, I found the pic above on SBR that someone took. Maybe I'll get some at Thill monday.

it's louder than stock and definitely louder than any under tail exhaust I've heard on the 10's.
