Insurrection Racing, NorCal, Oregon, and Washington's PILOT USA distributor and sponsorship / contingency representative, is happy to announce our new role as a Bay Area Riders Forum sponsor! With regards to racing in NorCal, our aim is to keep AFM racers appraised of new PILOT USA developments with both sponsorship and contingency. We also aim to keep AFM racers appraised of new PILOT suit designs and PILOT protective gear.

First, I would like to comment on our location. We are located in the Thunderhill ProShop / MiniMart for the 2011 AFM Racing season. PILOT fit suits are available at our Thunderhill location and we will do everything that we can to help AFM racers get the very best in fit, from off-the-rack to split-fit to semi-custom to full custom fit. Further, all PILOT suits are full custom design. You decide how you want your suit to look!!!

Concerning sponsorship, we have four top-tier PILOT sponsorships left to give out in The AFM! We are pleased to announce that Martin Szwarc has filled one of our top-tier sponsorship slots and we're currently seeking four other AFM riders who regularly place in the top five in their respective class, who conduct themselves with a high degree of professionalism, and who plan on making road racing in The AFM a priority during this season and in seasons to come! Martin joins the ranks of Jason DiSalvo, Dane Westby, and Corey West, to name but a few, as part of the PILOT USA team!

Concerning contingency, we will have payout information by round 5.

If you have any questions regarding PILOT leathers, please don't hesitate to contact Insurrection Racing at 206-550-3545. We have excellent AFM racer pricing and will be glad to get you a great suit!

Concerning the suits, here are some that we've designed for AMA, AFM, OMRRA, WMRRA, moto mag. test, and track day riders--

NICE STUFF! I can also say that Wade & Carrie are GREAT people. They have worked hard to step up the offerings at the Pro Shop and Carrie does a fantastic job with leather repair & sewing patches on suits. THANK YOU GUYS!

Thanks Tim!!!

On another note, I just want to tell folks that the sponsorships are for riders relatively close to AMA pace, given their class...

For others, we'll do our very best to get you a killer deal on a fully custom designed PILOT suit!!! Like Tim said above, we're working our very hardest to help you guys out!!! You can definitely count on us to get you that suit that you've always wanted!!!

Wade and Carrie are genuinely nice folks and the pro shop at Thill is packed with good stuff. A welcome change, though I enjoyed the popsicles the old shop carried.

I'm very excited to design my first custom leathers and can't speak highly enough of Wade and Carrie. They took the time to get me measured and show me a bunch of different designs so I could get some ideas. :thumbup

This is what the PILOT contingency program for AFM is beginning to look like--

We would like to implement the following program to be awarded at the end of the season (awards will be based on year-end championship standing).

If the rider is wearing Pilot leathers at the time of the last round (or prior), another $200.00 will be given to that rider in contingency.

· Rider to fill out contingency form at each round.

· Pilot decals to be on each bike entered at each round.

· Pilot listed as a sponsor in rider results.

· Rider goes through tech to confirm form and decals applied.

· Riders best championship finish will be awarded.

· Award certificates to be mailed when final results are given and compared to contingency forms filled out.

:thumbup This is my 1st custom suit as well. Wade and Carrie were absolutely great to deal with. They gave me follow up emails and calls as the changes I requested were being sorted out. (and I threw several requests at them) I would highly recommend them even though I didn't have the resume or the speed needed to become a sponsored rider. Also, If your current suit needs repair while at Thunderhill, go see Carrie at the Pro-Shop. She did a fantastic job on mine and, I was able to take the suit back home with me on the same day. That was first time I met them. I had no Idea they were the Pilot Suit reps for our area. I tried a couple of demo suits on and I liked what they had to offer. Carrie and Wade were both so damn nice, I ordered a suit on the spot. Check them out ! :thumbup

Jess,
Everyone loves the suit that you designed...I think it's going to be worth two to three seconds...LOL...!!!

Those suits look sick with the printed stuff instead of patchwork.

What we try to do with PILOT is go leather if at all possible...Yet, for more complicated graphics, like the Vesrah on West's suit, they get printed onto the leather of the suit. Moreover, quite a few patches are done in vinyl, which is a very sleek way to do logo patches. It basically comes down to what will look best on the suit and the medium for graphics is determined depending on a particular graphic, where it's going to be placed, etc.... In the end, it just looks damn cool!!!

:thumbup That is great news Wade. I can't wait to see it. Thanks again for all of the work you and Carrie have put in on my suit. I hope my sponsors will like it too. :thumbup

Bud, email me those pictures and I'll post them up! I think it's safe to say that your suit turned out pretty damn good!!! I'm jealous!

If anyone would like to see what PILOT can do, stop by tomorrow morning and see Bud's suit in person!

See you tomorrow Wade!

Definitely! See you then!

We at Insurrection Racing are very happy to announce that both Jason Lauritzen and Jennifer Lauritzen will be joining Martin Szwarc to fill three of the six top-tier PILOT USA sponsorship slots!

And, yes, that's correct...based on the riders that we've gotten thus far, their attitudes, and PILOT USA's belief that The AFM is one of the strongest road racing organizations in the nation, we've been awarded one extra top-tier sponsorship opportunity. That gives us a total of six top-tier sponsorship opportunities for racers in The AFM!

We're looking forward to the future and hope Martin, Jason, and Jennifer will be kicking ass in PILOT in The AFM for years to come!
