4th Annual Rydther Hawthorne Run, Sept 9-11, 2011!

When I got out of the shower after the rally I looked like I had some horrible flesh eating scarlet rubella fever disease.....

Turns out it was little bruises from trying to catch Kurt and Aaron in the hail.

I feel like I missed it. Waking up with no hangovers and what not. I got a long weekend coming soon. Any one want to go back next month?

:teeth

Hope you packed your long johns, hope the Airhawk doesn't spring a leak :p .....As auntie said I'm rather jealous too. Ride safe, make us proud (Queen and country of course), think Ride of the Valkyries - B of B!

HH if it hadn't been for you we might not have gone. You were the motivator and our inspiration, so a big hug, big thanks and :hail

The lovely Susan is lovely and the best rally mate. Together we tackled some fears (rain, hail) and challenges (108, the return distance) that I know are going to make us more competent and confident riders. As if that wasn't a good enough reason to go, the breathtaking scenery, dramatic landscapes and sky made the experience an amazing joy. I'm still on such a high!

Thanks to the organizers, the great bunch of BARFers I met in various forms of inebriation, and a special thanks to Cincinnatus and Martin who stuck with us in the passes. You sirs are gents for getting soaked with us.

Oh and I'd be happy to make that cake again anytime Gwynne, maybe for a fundraiser/special event???? Its serious choco guinness powers must be put to good uses :p.
