big pete's mini build #2 - '88 Honda ZB50

I hope they work a little :p I do need to pick up a rear banjo bolt for the caliper since it didn't come with one.

If it is Brembo pay close attention to the pitch. Easy to strip with a close but not correct standard bolt.

Well things have come up and I have to part with one of my projects. Decided to keep my Dax and build that instead.

$2300. Off the top of my head, the bike has:

- Registration good until 03/10
- Powder coated frame
- NSR forks & swingarm (w/ shock relocation bracket)
- Brand new NSR 6-spokes w/ TT91's
- Lifan 125 (stock motor included)
- G-Craft 55mm offset triple clamp
- OVER Racing handle bar
- Monkey R tail light
- rewrapped seat (blue)
- new chain
- Mac Crane rearsets

Please note the bike still needs a few things to be finished: kickstand + mount, turn signals, maybe a new tank (not sure if the stock one leaks but I can Rhino Line the outside for the buyer), battery box, and connect the wires on the harness.

Here are the most current pics (with the G-Craft triples and OVER handle bar)

Part it out. You know what parts I want :teeth

I'm too lazy to tear it down and install the stock stuff. Just buy the whole bike already :p You're going to end up doing most of the mods down the line anyways and you can sell the parts you don't want.

Ah hell, shoot me an offer I can't refuse for the NSR parts

HEY! KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF! ERNESTO HAS TOO MANY COOL FIDDYS ALREADY.

Ernesto, how much do you want for the CRF without the motor?

motor cost me $1300. that didn't include new parts like clutch, cylinder and piston.

also the rear brake set up is mounted via a g-craft bracket onto the motor. if you're thinking about putting the lifan 150 you may have to modify it some how. i know the two motor have different where the bracket bolts onto.

I see. I'll keep you posted about the ZB.

if you can fabricate a piece to mount the resiovior on the lifan motor i don't see a problem.

let me know if mikey can get funds together.
if i end up with it i wouldn't use the swingarm shock and rear sets.

Maybe you guys can work something out. He mainly wants the NSR stuff. If anything, I can take that stuff off and drop it off to him.

I love it when a plan comes together.

This is also funny because I'm a huge baseball fan and this is swirling in my head like a 3-team-trade would look.

Mike gets: NSR suspension, wheels, swinger, shock (from Pete)
Pete gets: Street Legal CRF (from Ernesto), Stock ZB parts + $$$$ (from Mike)
Ernesto gets: Dax and ZB (from Pete)

:rofl
