He did not have it on him.

I personally won't be riding solo without one from now on aside from commuting.

Sorry, I must've missed something. He sad he didn't have signal on his phone. How was he able to reach someone?

He wasn't.
Some people in a car happened to see him and stopped.

I've never broken a bone in my 29 years of existence. I can't move for shit right now, can't even sit up in my bed. I've never been so miserable. But I know I'll get better. Especially with the help of my friends/barfers, my family and my loving wife.

My heart really goes out to 'carries an axe ', Dude, you got balls of reinforced steel and an iron will!! Here's to you!

Henry, it's really important that you keep on top of your pain meds. Make sure you take them at the scheduled intervals. If you don't the pain levels start rising, and you may not be able to get it back down.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain... that just really flat out sucks. :(

Henry!
We've got parts and a brand new pair of pants for you, give us pics of the bike and a list of parts you'll need.
You're going to be O.K, painful and sore for a while, sure but you are healthy and young.

Just met you the other week at Hi-Dive, man. What happened sucks hard, but glad to hear you're not any worse off! Get well soon, Henry.

So now that i'm well enough to drive, albeit with one arm (shifting and all), i got a chance to go to the accident spot. Let me tell you, hauling ass up the hill to mt hamilton is quite the bumpy ride!
anywho, here are some pics

i also think i was a little heavy handed in my turn-in. i was so busy looking through the corner i didn't notice the gravel. i can't believe i didn't see it!
