heal up and ride soon
Gnary dude! Glad yer heal'in up o.k. and will be back on the road in no time.So now that i'm well enough to drive, albeit with one arm (shifting and all), i got a chance to go to the accident spot. Let me tell you, hauling ass up the hill to mt hamilton is quite the bumpy ride!
anywho, here are some pics
i also think i was a little heavy handed in my turn-in. i was so busy looking through the corner i didn't notice the gravel. i can't believe i didn't see it!
i hit one of these rocks on the right, me thinkso anyway
xray of my broken scapula and ribs
Oh Connie! A million thanks to you! i owe you one, or at least a few!
You ever go to the wed night meets?
Gawd, the x-ray looks painful!
Ha... I wonder if it was the same corner I binned it in back in 2007. Coming through the corner, looking up the road, a deep patch of road-colored gravel directly beneath me... never saw it coming. Only knew it was there after I walked back and saw the tire tracks through it. Broke my shoulder and my thumb. Lung/rib sounds more painful, though. Hope you're feeling better now that it's been a few weeks! So i was going around a blind right and as soon as i saw the sightline increase, i gave it some throttle. Bad idea, as sandy gravel was directly underneath me. Bike washed out from the rear and i thInk i lifted or overcorrected.
I hit a boulder with my ribs and shoulder. Now im broken! It hurts!
Oppps, sorry, sorry, terribly sorry.British Grand Prix
