I don't care much for Greta anyhow. She's just been saying the same thing that young indigenous climate activists have been saying for years now.

It's the classic technique of morons; all you need to discredit all the things is one little thing and everybody fucks up at some point, so all you have to do is wait long enough and all the truths become lies. All you need is one shitty woman to abuse metoo and therefore no woman has ever been pressure raped by the weinsteins out there, in a courtroom telling one lie is the same as having never told the truth in your life. All you need is that little hook and you're in. It makes for a great society filled with wonderful people, it really does.

The Swedish public has voted that climate change spending has been the biggest waste of taxpayer money in 2019, according to a poll by the Swedish Taxpayers’ Association.
The Taxpayers’ Association released the results of their annual wasteful spending poll earlier this week, declaring that climate policy had been the biggest waste of money, largely due to the fact that despite the spending, emissions in Sweden had actually slightly increased.In 2014, the Swedish national government spent 5.2 billion Swedish krona (£419 million/$547 million), a number that has more than doubled to 12.6 billion krona (£1 billion/$1.3 billion) for the planned 2020 budget.

“The government has more than doubled the appropriations for climate policy, but despite this, emissions no longer decrease.


In 2018, emissions even increased.

That is why climate policy has been voted the worst waste of the year,” Johan Gustafsson, Waste Ombudsman at the Taxpayers’ Association, said.
“Too much tax money is wasted without benefit to those who pay. It is no less important that money has an effect when it is invested in something that is important — rather the opposite,” he added.

In second place in the poll was a project from the artists’ commission that saw over a million krona donated to a project focused on art for earthworms and fungi.
Mats Caldeborg and wife Katrin Zackrisson Caldeborg were behind the project and told newspaper Expressen: “Art for birds, bumblebees, beetles, worms, and fungi is a project that wants to turn upside down in our habitual way of seeing and understanding the world. Here, nature’s smaller inhabitants are not those depicted, but themselves, in their own right, recipients of the art.”
The wasteful spending poll results come as many Swedish municipal governments face financial hardship or even bankruptcy due to a lack of money to support recently arrived migrants who have largely remained out of the labour force.
An estimated 90 per cent of migrants who came to the country during the height of the 2015 migrant crisis and received permanent residency are unemployed.

Montana’s Glacier National Park is being forced to remove all signs that read “glaciers will all be gone by 2020,” after the doomsday scenario didn’t happen.
Some of the signs were already removed last year as it became clear the prediction wasn’t going to unfold.
Now the rest of the signs will have to be taken down too.
Glacier National Park spokeswoman Gina Kurzmen “told MTN News that the latest research shows shrinking, but in ways much more complex than what was predicted. Because of this, the park must update all signs around the park stating all glaciers will be melted by 2020,” reports 8KPAX.

• In the late 90’s and early 2000s, scientists predicted that man-made global warming would cause melting glaciers, leading to rapidly rising sea levels that would sink coastal cities and towns.
The more dire forecasts have proven to be totally inaccurate and some glaciers are now growing.
Back in June, NASA reported that the Jakobshavn Glacier in western Greenland had thickened and “has grown for the third year in a row.”
The glacier prediction is by no means the only forecast global warming alarmists have got spectacularly wrong.
• At the end of the 70’s, climate experts said that a new ice age was coming. It didn’t happen.
• Paul Erlich’s prediction that hundreds of millions of people would die of starvation due to crop failure by the 1980’s also didn’t happen.
• The 2004 prediction that major European cities would be underwater and that Britain would be plunged into a Siberian climate by 2020 didn’t happen.
Al Gore’s doomsday warning that the Arctic would have ice free summers by 2013 didn’t happen either.
Maybe since these “experts” been caught lying time and time again, should ew stop and question them?

Yeah but if you didn't call it exactly then it's the same being completely untrue and it creates a new reality where people have done nothing wrong. For some reason those big corps that have lost billions in environmental lawsuits aren't seeking a refund though, not entirely sure why, but it's probably for philanthropic reasons.
