Ok, I am going to vent a bit. And sorry, but it's a little political in nature but I am not trying to make this political because that isn't my point. So last night on jeapordy there was a question where the answer was Greta Thunberg. Our illustrious house guest said "She needs a bullet in her head." and needless to say it got a reaction from me, which was "Oh sure, we should shoot her simply because she cares about the environment." at which there were some back and forth then we shut up.

But I'm still pissed. I have spent my entire career working in an industry that's sole purpose is to lighten our footprint on the environment. And I have o listen to some ignorant moron state that a fucking teenager should be shot because she has an opinion and wants us to leave the world a better place (or at least not just rape it into oblivion). A very large part of me wants to rehash this argument and just fucking go off. But I won't because I know it won't make any difference in this chick's way of thinking and it will simply lead to a larger argument here. Instead I'll go ride my bike in the woods and hope they still exist in ten years.

Do you know if her comments related to Greta's environmental activism or her more recent rants against Israel and Germany?

BL is worked up about what he perceived as a stance opposite to his life’s work. If it wasn’t about that, it’s potentially better, particularly as Greta has been promoting what some interpret as antisemitic views.
