Verde Valley, IS a UKE joint,
Camp Verde, VOC, Sedona, Jerome,
All combined into a parade marching unit, for special occasions.
I have one too, but, one busted finger kills the chord, I need.

So many retired pro musicians, live here,

New gear arrived. AeroStich Darien jacket and AD1 pants. All I need now is a motorcycle, should arrive next week. Note highspeed sandals.

I bought a friend who’s just moved a little housewarming present. She’s low on funds and mentioned she needed a vacuum. I hated the idea of her spending $100 on something that was a piece of shit so I asked if she’d be okay with a used but excellent vacuum.

Squid! What do you think this is, Arizona and you can just ride in flip flops? :laughing :love

I bought myself a hammock, a $27. special, I was thinking about a folding chair to stash in the woods.
I rolled out to my avatar, location, in Sedona and found it choked with fire trucks.
Crews parked @ trailheads, during their downtime, talked to a crew from Crown King, old Az. mining town.
They were asking me about folding chairs, I told them of my new hammock.

I hiked down to my tree, a special tree that grew differently, the sunny side, is rounded with tree branches.
The shady side branches, turned toward the sun, wrapping around the tree, to the sunny side.
Leaving the shady side flat, there are a few of these old juniper trees around.

My tree anchors, I tried mens woven belts, of cotton/poly, grommets pulled out, and stretched/tore it.
Nylon woven is my next try. It all worked, super easy to hang it, best tree design ever.
last pix of my water bottle, hanging from a limb, and the special swinging rope, within easy reach.
Little effort, swings long time, , , Yes, that is fire smoke @ my feet.
I have a dog in this fire fight now, I left this in a tree notch, awaiting my return.

As if I don't have enough unfinished projects...this one's a $free.50.

1998, 101K miles. 5.7L Vortec, 2WD. Got the tunes setup in hand. Need a few small things: upgraded alternator, Quiet Ride, window trim rubber, Windshield, tail gate, master cylinder, tune up, tires and she's off to be a track/ bike/ Jetski race truck. Pretty excited. Figure I'll do any other upgrades afterI drive her a bit...maybe suspension and brakes. Maybe...

I had a 1998 C1500 and loved that truck.

They're supposed to be the best GM trucks built...so I'm told. I wasn't able to find out with the trucks in my fleet back east...they rusted out before dying. This one's the GF's mom's truck left on her ranch after she passed away. Sat for 10 years...charged battery and started her right up.

I think mine had 300k before it gave up.
