Thinking of doing this next Sun the 21st any body interested. Would go up Hwy 16 to Cach Creek County Rd 41 to Williams then into to Stonyford then take forestry roads all the way over to Upper lake then back home thru Hwy 20/16 Rieff Rd, Berresa Knoxville rd. Back to Hwy 80. Would have to leave early, like 7 am meet time at the famous Starbucks in Cordelia then up to Hwy 505/16 Cache Creek. This should take most of the day. Will post millage later tonight. I've done this a few times on my GS even with the wife and bags so shouldn't be much of a challenge just good dirt roads. Weather pending.

Lookz tasty, but the BARF jam is that nite, and I gotz ta save mah strength!

Yes it is early but worth it. Yes very much like that there on your map. I haven't figured out how to paste the maps yet. Not sure of the milage but somthing like 50 miles of dirt and I'm sure double or triple that of slab. Will post more detail tomorrow when home from work.

If you quote Banjoboy's post you can get the general format. Get the map set in the window how you want it to appear on gmaps and then do
[gmap.]html code thingy[/gmap.] but leave out the periods.

I know its going to be awesome, Davis just happens to have Picnic Day the Saturday before and it can be....quite a tiring experience, but I am going to try my best.

If'n ya click on the "Google" logo in the lower left corner of my map, it becomes "alive" 'n you can getta break down of the details fer the different sectors, (279 mi. 8 hrs.) or modify it.
A ta B is 'bout 81 mi.
B ta C is 'bout 32 mi. paved (Goaty?)
C ta HWY 20, is bout 60 mi. of dirt.
Mortifer haz good instructions inna sticky Here on embedding google maps.

If'n I can swing this, I'd prolly meet Y'all in Williams or Maxell since I'd be come'in from Sonoma County. No point in slab'in down ta Cordillia, then slab'in up ta Maxwell, (Slab'in makes me :barf ) when I can blast over St Helena 'n out HWY 20. :teeth

Ok double checking on the snow level to make sure it is passable first. So meeting time would be 7 am at Starbucks 4490 Central Way Fairfield, CA 94585
Then slab it up to Maxwell where we will fuel up then head west torwards Stonyford. We could stop for lunch somewhere in Lake County before heading back Berryessa Knoxville Rd. Total millage would be approx 265 miles of which 90 of that would be slabbing up to Maxell where the fun begins.

When you figure you guys will be reaching Maxwell? gonna be stopping at Valero or Chevron?
I'm thinking on taking 16/20 to get up there...because I can

I'm up for any route Jimbo ? Right now looks like maybe two or three unless more jump on at the last moment. Hwy 16/20 sounds good to me as well hell even dirt route county rd 41 ? Let me know what you think.

I'm up for anything. I don't know how you're planning on coming back or how adventurous you or I will be feeling at that point but I am having the itch to come back down Reiff road and then through Knoxville ohv(just like the 2nd sunday ride of the month). Sometimes I think I am a little bit crazy but I likes me some dirt which seems so hard to find :ride

Ok looks like this will be a long day, Meet at Starbucks in Cordelia or Cache Creek Casino ? Then take county rd 41 (Dirt) to Williams then gas up and head of to Stonyford, then head over to upper lake (all dirt forestry roads) then down thru Clear Lake back to HWY 20/16 and take Reiff rd up to Berryessa/Knoxville rd and then back to Hwy 80 and home...whew! Sound like fun and lots of dirt! Should meet 7 or 8 am at Cache Creek Casino ? This is all pending at least the meeting place let me know what you think.

Here's the route...Yeah Baby!!

Route looks awesome! I don't have much preference for meeting spot. I'll be coming from Davis so I'll probably hook up with you guys somewhere on 16/around cache creek anyway.

Ye bastids! Putting on the peer pressure to get off my Heine (beer, tire, or bodypart?), properly fix my oil cooler and get on with the Sunday ride!

Sid - you sadist! snow? Really? As if I didn't get enough from the WARPED weekend. On the AMTRAK to Southern Sierras right now to pick up what's left of the Tiger...

Since James is going big by fielding his KiLR - I may have to Mondo Enduro this one with the DR.

Can anybody figure a dirt route from Upper lake over to 16 ? After gassing up and lunch in Upper Lake there looks like a few routes that are a possibility.:teeth

I very much like this proposition of more dirt. Just taking a peek at the map looks it looks like taking some trails over to Bartlett Springs and taking that all the way down to 20 looks like a definite possibility.

Git off your heine Seavoyage! This is looking to be more and more awesome

I might be into this. Leaving for Europe on the 25th, so must leave some prep time for that...

I rode 330 miles of slab today... and my Heine is terrified that any more slab this weekend will result in world class hemorrhoids... This ain't for Iron Butt credit. :wtf Maybe SFMCjohn, Mootsuno, or Hotmamaandme might know some routes up in Mendo to stay off the slab.

DRider is trying to seduce me to be his 'Sheet Iron partner' and ride Frank Raines on Sunday... it's a eHarmony thing I guess :love

Sid only rides "On Any Sunday" :x some BS Nostalgic Steve McQueen/Mert Lawwill/Malcolm Smith worship thing... what should I to do??? :dunno

I might be into this. Leaving for Europe on the 25th, so must leave some prep time for that...

Prep time? :wtf Dude the hairdryers are 110V/220V in Prague, and condoms can be reused - you don't need no stinkin' 'Prep Time'.
