Weather ... What impact will it be. Love to see battling for a win.

shoulda gave them to me lol I would have gone

haha my friend that lives in the UK won them through the company she works for. i was actually planning on being in london right now but things came up and i couldnt go. turns out i could have gone but ticket prices over there are outrageous for the week.

To hell with Donnington - I wish they raced at Cadwell.

Johnny Rea, getting it done.

..... and it would absolutely kill all of the talk of the Honda being the best bike on the grid.
:shocker Says who?
Obviously, by results, the Yamahas appear better. I have said so, for one. If you look at the last decade, it is dead even with Yamaha and Honda. Take Stoner out of the equation, and you probably have two MORE championships by Yamaha.

Johnny Rea, getting it done.
That's my boy. :party

No rain and Stoner shows up to put on the rear-steer show. Cal proves he deserves the Honda spot. And Dani sucks his thumb because Andrea keeps trying to take him out.

Who called it? That as we progress further and further in the season, Stoner was going to get more ballsy with the comments he was making?

Check it. After Lorenzo comments that his heart was at Yamaha rather than Honda, we get this little juicy tidbit.

As an aside, Lorenzo also joked that he had stayed with Yamaha to leave Casey Stoner seat open for him, in case the Australian changed his mind. Though Stoner laughed along with the joke, when asked if he had had any second thoughts about his decision, he was adamant that he was not coming back. "My resolve [to retire] is stronger, 100%," Stoner said. "Every time we're here for a race meeting, and you hear everything that's going on, see everything that's going on, it makes me that much more sure that I made the right decision."

Mmm mmm mmm. Right there in the middle of the press conference, too.

Can't wait to hear what he has to say after all is said and done. :laughing

...its not raining at the moment but its a wet FP1 for moto3...bikes are dropping all over the place (i love moto3 free practice. no commentators. just engines....)
...they're saying there could be showers&thunderstorms this afternoon at silverstone and a strong possibility of showers all day on saturday...
...but only a 30% chance of showers for race day.

Valentino and Hayden run 1-2 in wet session one with Val less than a tenth ahead. With quite a gap behind them which is promising as Sunday should be wet.

In DRY session 2 Val falls to 11th while Nicky stays in his ussual 4th for silverstone.
Casey, Spies, Alvaro, Nicky.....

I wish for Dani to hold the pace like Lorenzo this race. Catalunya was really fun to watch. Seems like he rides so smart, but just ran out of strength/focus when Lorenzo still had the infinite hammer to throw down, like a damn terminator.

Rain sucks, but I would at least be excited thinking Rossi has the most chance at winning, especially on a circuit with so many corners! I feel like the more corners everyone has to nail, the more advantage someone like Rossi should have.

No rain and Stoner shows up to put on the rear-steer show.

so damn awesome, stoner uses the least electronics and just steers it himself with the throttle. and Nakamoto goes, "yeah, but he's still getting about 10% slip, like a human computer"

Fp1 wet
