2015 Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring

  • 1200cc Testastretta DVT engine (the one with the many horsepowers and torques)
  • 36,7xx miles (relevant - see price and notes)
  • Full Termignoni titanium exhaust with ECU kit
  • Oberon clutch slave (so much better than factory)
  • Chain and front sprocket replaced at 34.7k miles
  • Rear sprocket new and in box (see notes)
  • Registration paid through June 2027
  • Garaged in Cupertino. Clean title in hand.
  • $4,500. Asking cash and your M1 license in my hand for a test ride.
Second owner (since you're reading it here you know of the original owner), purchased at 20k miles after the first Desmo service. Garage kept, well-maintained (by me), records available. Scraped the right pannier on a gas-station bollard (paint only), slight damage to left pannier after a drop at a stop light (to avoid a car reversing into me - at a STOPLIGHT). Otherwise very clean for a 35k mile Ducati. Oh, I wasn't able to get the original rear sprocket off when I replaced the chain and front sprocket. So, you get a new rear sprocket!

Everyone should own a Ducati. Once. Especially a DVT 1200 with a titanium can. Grumbles at low rpms, growls at mid, and howls near redline.

Comes with oil and a filter as she's ready for a change. I did not perform the 35k Desmo service, as I haven't ridden hardly at all for the last year (and won't for the next). The price reflects a discount for the ~$1200 Desmo service if you get it at a reasonable shop. Do it yourself and you're saving quite a few hundreds. She's been sitting on a tender next to her British friend (see other post) and it's a damn shame for it. Buy it so she can be ridden. %age to Budman if sold here.

That's a ton of bike for the money. I have the identical bike going in for cam phase issues tomorrow. Rebuilt the top end about 10K ago.

Would buy it right now if I was closer and had storage as a parts bike. That Skyhook out back has to be tired, but at that price it's worth every penny. GLWS
 
I'm laughing at myself right now for buying a somewhat beater project 2010 Multi with similar miles on Friday for not much less $
