2019 - 2026 Wednesday Night Drags Sonoma

No racing this week but I found this cool video they made at the end of last year. Too bad it didn't feature any motorcycle racing, as if watching Joe and Tyler rip down the strip in 9 seconds wasn't exciting =/.

Results for 8-4-19. Eric Oliver beat me in the Finals. Even after backing off at the end I still went a tad to quick and broke out. I ran a 9.40 on a 9.42 dail. I had the better reaction time also. Just a mental error on my part. We had a strong headwind the entire evening. Another get showing for the bike count.
Points leader Doug Love was unable to race in the finals as he had electrical issues which left the door open for everyone else. I had to go 4 round. Racing will be every Wednesday in August.

Side note. Last Saturday a few of us went to Sacramento Raceway and either equaled or ran personal best times.

I won't be there next week. The headwind was a killer. My front end got a little happy also.

Racing today 8-11-21. Racing starts at 4pm get there early to get through tech. I won't be there today but have fun guys and gals!
 
Won't be showing up today working on getting my Rav4 Prime this week :)
 
Results for 8-18-21.

Tyler Christle got the win over points leader Doug Love In a double break out finals. Tyler also had two personal best runs, both coming against me! Had a good bike count and low car turnout so we were able to get a decent number of runs. Not sure if I will be posting many pictures as Sonoma Raceway is making life hard for the photographers....Here are some pictures from the night of racing.

Aww missed out don't know when I'll be able to get out there again. I gotta break in my Rav4 before I can tow with it and I need to install a hitch on it.

It's a shame about the photography. How are photographers going to make money? Like trackday photographers.

Cool you got the new car! Can't wait for you to make a few runs down the track.

Sonoma wants the photographers to submit all their photos to them and give away all rights to them. Crazy.
 
Yeah it is. I would gladly pay for photos. If you go to trackday events or dualsport events the photos are hella $$$

Yep I'll get it down the strip eventually for now it'll tow my bike to the track =) it's so stressful buying a new vehicle so expensive and the computer chip / vehicle shortage makes it even worse. Supposedly dealers don't know what they will be getting in the future.
 
Sounds like they are just trying to squeeze the little guys at the small Wednesday night Drags and Drifts events. Doing whatever they can to just make the small events go away.

Yes, next race will be September 15. I did not make last weeks race either. They did add another date in October, the 20th.
