2021 Ford Bronco - shots fired

Wasn't this thread supposed to be about the 2021 Ford Bronco? :rolleyes

No, it’s about old shitty government fleet vehicles. :twofinger

Started from something about Toyota saying drum brakes are more reliable off road. Then why do the 4Runner and Landcruiser have discs all around? Smells like bullshit.

I wonder what the cargo dimensions are for the 2dr if you remove the rear seats.

I'm expecting it to not be able to haul a lot of stuff, but with the back seat out it ought to hold all the camping gear you might need. It would probably make a good support vehicle for a group of bikes doing something like the IDBDR.

Apparently the cargo area is not big enough to carry the doors. They’re specifically saying you can carry the doors in the four door version but there’s no mention of doing that with the two door.

When we bought our 4 door Wrangler last year we looked at the 2-door as well: with the rear seats in place there was NO cargo space: the back of the rear seat was up against the tailgate! Our smart car had more cargo space than the 2 door Wrangler. If you removed the rear seat you got a bit of cargo space, but you lost the rear seat...

Yeah, that's actually part of the reason my cousin just traded in his 2-door for a Gladiator.

I really like the two door.
I'm fantasizing that the two door will have 6ft. from tailgate to the back of the front seat. I have no qualms about pulling the rear seat completely. But if it's shorter than that, I can't sleep flat in it. If it was as big as the last generation of Bronco or full sized Blazer, it might there. But I recently saw a graphic that showed it's really only the same length as the second gen Bronco. So I'm not holding my breath. But if it does have that length, I'll probably get one at some point.

Re: removable doors.

PSA for Wrangler owners who feel it's ok to run around with no doors...

Wear pants. No one should be forced to see your gross pimply legs flapping in the wind.

KTHXBY

Finally looked at all the packages.

Badlands, 4-door, hardtop, with the sasquatch kit would be my song.

I'm just dreaming though, fixing to close on a house soon. *crossedfingers*

Shorts are so you can stick a knee out and get that fresh wind caressing the manberries.

:rofl

Seriously? I can fit 6 paper bags of groceries behind the rear seat of my 2-door 2014 Rubicon, along with a few plastic bags of lightweight stuff on top... produce, chips, etc. That being said, I usually leave the rear seat in my spare bedroom as the vehicle is much more useful to me without it. After driving a first-gen MR2 for 20 years that 2-door Wrangler feels spacious as hell :laughing

That is what grabs me as well. I would do it in Area 51 with the V6.

Ditto. Carbonized gray would be my 2nd option. Though since I'm just dreaming here I'm gonna go ahead and get it wrapped in Taliban tan. :rofl

Looks nice. It's a Ford, so probably should buy the extended mileage towing insurance. I'll stick to Toyota, given Fords extensive history of mega-screwups.

okay.

NOW I WANT ONE.
