2023 New Bikes & Updates

For too long I have been wishing I could stop at Starbucks on the way to work and have somewhere to stash my coffee. Coffeelets for all!

Better?

Does this model have cruise control?
How am I supposed to grab the coffee at 70 miles an hour with my throttle hand?

I just faced that on Sunday. Only two blocks from work.. :nchantr
Map to the rescue!!!

In the linked article they clarify that it's a "1" in the sides and not an "I" for "EYE-talian"... :thumbup

Stolen from my Multistrada!!!! :rant

Italians make funny numbers. :p

Germans make funny wings.

Italy has produced Titian, Caravaggio, and Michelangelo, and thats all Ducati could come up with for a "1" ?

Looking at all these new models is kinda like walking through a newly constructed model home or condo. You back to your old place, and it looks old and out of date. I sorta wish I didn't see what I've seen on these new bikes, it has me wishing...then I look at my wallet and figure I'll wait.

How about a Panigale V4R with the potential of 240hp with the right kit?

:laughing

Great for the track I suppose.

My CAR has 129hp and it's a hoot on the backroads around here! :laughing

Friend bought a C6 Vette a couple of years ago and we drove the cars on the same route back to back.

Couldn't go faster in the Vette on actual back roads for obvious reasons though it's clearly "faster."

Stout looking bad ass. :cool

Epic goodness. Before the SP, the Streetfighter V4S w/ kit ECU was my favorite bike I've ridden (like, ever). The SP is better. Rode it most of the day instructing @ the Ducati Rev's event. That's payment enough...around Laguna, the bike is perfect. And then there's the joy of the Pike's Peak in race mode...

I put a deposit down on one of these suckers. Likely won’t have the one I want in until March. Couldn’t resist any longer….

My biggest concern on rural route planning is often times chargers are busted/not working etc. In a city its not a big deal, you go to the next nearest charger which often isn't far away.

In some back-country rural town the level 2 charger you come across may be the only one around. If it's down you're probably stuck charging at level 1. So you are stuck for at least as long as it takes to get a big enough charge to ride to the next destination. That could be an hour... or 10 hours lol
